@MrKarlozz Yeah Gosh Jean's accent is horrible lol it's very difficult to do the american accent for a french but Berenice's accent is quite good though
This is a good example of that age old debate... small movies with creativity vs. big 'splosions with little plot drive. (The latter belongs in video games, imo.) The public seems to gobble up classless shit like Ghost Rider and Transformers... but I say to all directors: who gives a damn what the majority wants, make the film that you envision. I use to scoff at some critics and movie buffs but I get where they're coming from.
sorry jean when i see 10 euros for pop corn i remember why it 5 years i not put a toe in a cinema now i think it can be an good idea to invent somthin to can look your movie
@charibylla i dont know the u.s. equivalent of 10 euros but I COMPLETELY agree with u! its, literally, been 9yrs since ive been n a movie theater bcuz its so damn expensive to see 1 movie! mayb if there was a package deal where i could see 2 movies for $10 then i would but i rather just spend $10 on a dvd & i can watch as many times as i want! then when u add n popcorn, soda, nacho, hot dogs, candy, cookies or whatever u like to order at the movies, before u know it u spent like $25 for 1 movie! smh
@charibylla oh actually, u can sneak n the food!! when we were younger me & my sis would go to movies for $3.50 (good price n usa)& im only 26 so it wasnt that long ago! & down the street from movie theater was a mcdonalds,so we would put burgers, fries, chicken nuggets w/ sauce n our jacket pockets & would by a bottle soda/water! :) its easy to do this n colder weather when u have a big coat, harder to do n summer since it would b really weird to wear a winter coat n 90 degree weather! lol

@8mukushla8 he's married and also very much in love this his wife, sorry to break your hope =) that said I know that jean Dujardin was brilliant in the movie but why are you all forgeting the most stunning performance of Berenice Bejo? She was as good as Jean!
Bloody marvellous, well done all. Me has dejado totalmente enamorado preciosa. Quiero tener tus bebes!!
LOVED THE MOVIE a thousand times over. Having said that - - - HOW IN THE WORLD did this interviewer E V E R get this job?? She has all the interviewing capability and presence of a cinder block. I've seen more excitement at the opening of an umbrella than when she talked. UNBELIEVABLE when there are so many SUPER TALENTED young people in media!!!!

@dedel1301 I think I read somewhere that it opened in France only recently? This seems like such a shame since it really is a French movie. I actually left the States to see it in Canada (I don't live far from the border) since it hasn't been released in my state yet.
@kellyakabilly Well, in fact it opened on 12th October 2011 but it "reopened" few days ago because of its sucess. But still, I' m a bit sad, i live in a "too little" city ... =/
@dedel1301 Ah, ok. My city is too small to show it, also- or at least I haven't heard of any talk to show it here. I know it's slowly working its way down to the smaller markets here in the US. I hope it does the same for you! The Artist is one to be seen in the theater.
@kellyakabilly Hello ! I wanted to share the news with you :) I'm going to see the Artist tomorrow in Paris !!! I'm so excited ... . I Hope you'll see the movie very soon .
@ninoududu yes.dujardin , in FRANCE, is considered as " a beauf" which means ass hole, base-français !!hhahahha.30 years ago, the stars were delon, depardieu, blier, people more intelligent, with something personnal.....
