In many cased people have had to reformat their thumb drive and then put everything back on it. Not your Media Drive, your thumbdrive with all of the app bins on it. Anyhow try power cycling the device a time or two first (unplug the power, wait about 30 sec, plug it back in and start it up)

On your media drive you should have a separate folder for each movie file that contains these three things:
- YourMovie.mkv
- folder.jpg
- wd_tv.jpg
Your thumb drive (with firmware and app bins on it) should be FAT32 formatted. If not, back up the data and format it using the provided formatting tool.
If you have done all of this and still no luck. Try using a different or new thumb drive. Several ppl now had thumbdrive issues.

Tvixie should be formatting the files correctly as long as you selected the WDTV as your preferred device. I am going to do a new tutorial to append to this one using a different program. I have found software that is a lot better.

When I ran the media drive it did come up with powered by lilibabe but it also detected new firmware again. I looked at the firmware and it said would you like to upgrade to 1.06.00 and it said i was using 1.03.00 and this was following both your videos. Is something wrong here because i might need to back track.
Sounds like you missed step 6 of my first video on installing custom firmware. Watch that video again start at 7:04 seconds. I PM'd you a more complete explanation.
I followed everything on ur tutorial 1 so I have B-rad's WDLXTV installed successfully. I then follow tutorial 2 exactly. I have my movie files in the separate folders & use TViXiE for all the info but the movie sheets don't work though unfortunately. I did everything you said.
@antirip2 OK, sounds like you have everything set up. Lets double check a few things.... Did the custom OSD work; Does it say "Lilibabe" somewhere during the start? This is the list of files that are on my thumb drive, yours should be identical... Folder "LaurentG_Templates" (should have 11 *.conf files inside) Folder ".wd_tv" Changelog event-osd.app.bin LaurentG.app.bin LaurentG.app.event LaurentG.conf osd.bin README S00custom-options screen_saver wdtv.bin wdtv.ver welcome_background_bg

First I just wanted to say that I appreciate your understanding regarding my use of sharecash.
Ok, the first question is, are you using custom firmware (i.e. B-rad's WDLXTV or ext3-boot). If you are using stock firmware (i.e. what is loaded by Western Digital onto the device and all official upgrades to it) then it won't work.
If you are using custom firmware, what exactly isn't working... Is it just the movie sheets or is it everything?
Hi TheRoman2025. I removed my comment as I had trouble downloading your files. I had no problem doing the survey for the files on your first tutorial but didn't want to be subscribing to these rip off phone subscription services so I bought a 3 day premium account on Sharecash.
Your videos are just excellent so it was well worth the $3.99 and I totally understand why you use Sharecash as you put a lot of time and effort into it, so thanks ;-)
I get paid for the downloads so I appreciate you trying to use the sharecash link. Sharecash pays really well, rapidshare does not. Anyhow, all that to say, I won't do a rapidshare link but if you are still having trouble downloading the software PM me with a gmail address and I will just email it to you (unless you know of some easier method of file transfer :)...)

I have no experience with Windows 7 64-bit. I would assume, however, that that is not the issue. That being said. I will happily gmail you the zip file and I definitely appreciate your support. My guess is that Chrome is the issue. If IE is doing the same thing though? I have had some experience with Chrome and I loved how fast it was, however it tends to be a bit buggy. I switched back to firefox and haven't looked back :)

Sounds like the OSD mod IS working (lilibabe)
