@PsychoticSnake Generally I agree since you can take a lot of damage just dishing out statuses and stuff. But sometimes there are upsides, you can catch people on switches, make them unable to attack so you can setup or just weaken them, Will-O-Wisp halving their Attack is a nice feature. I think if you can get a head start, some strategies and statuses (like Leech Seed) are really nice. Sleep is awesome regardless of where you stand on this.

@03jnb At the time I had a tape recorder, which I then plugged into a DVD recorder to record the tape and then put that in a computer, ripped the video file off the disc and posted it online. But now I have straight to DVD then rip the file etc.

@Atonil Yes, if you go into the Games Options you can turn the announcer off, I don't mind him, it adds tension and drama to your matches haha!

@andre300708 I don't know what you mean about Dialga, but yes he did have Zapdos and Regirock, though he only used Zapdos. Some of the other Leaders do use legendaries like Palkia and Groudon, who are better than Zapdos and Regirock.

did you get those pokemon by passes or did you have them on DS? and one more thing why don't they legendaries against me i am at rank 8!

I used DS Pokémon uploaded onto a pass, it'd be very hard to do all this with a rental pass. If you're at Rank 8 they should have legendaries, they start having them around rank 5 or 6. Is it Lv50 all you're doing it on? Otherwise I dunno what could be wrong if you are truly at rank 8.

Yeah the Sash got it down to 1 HP, and then it goes and uses a powerful move like that, and weakens its defences for Garchomp's successor!

let me see, my female gabite has outrage...my male will have stone edge earthquake outrage and swords dance...male lavitar, female gible, get a male stone edge earthquake gible...then...crap i need to think how to get an outrage stone edge earthquake chomp...

Surely you nearly explained it to yourself then? Anyway, breed a Larvitar (male) with Outrage, then level it up, don't evolve it and it will learn Stone Edge and Earthquake fairly quickly (much earlier than if you did evolve it).

ouch.stone edge is a bit low accurate, but strong. hey, guess what, i did want to do a endure reversal lucario, then on the first breed it was ADAMANT! with 31 IVs on spd and attack. now it has endure, reversal, brick break and earthquake. i am getting coupons to get salac berry.

Surely Zangoose is rubbish at Facade? It can't be poisoned due to its ability meaning if it gets burnt it's attack power is down by half? Go with Swellow for a good use of Facade!

Cool, if not a tad random. But that covers everything those moves, Dark and Fighting hits everything but Heracross and Toxicroak (I think) and Dream Eater gets both of them.

I always win with two Darkrais using Dark Void and Nightmare/Dream Eater and sometimes Dark Pulse if one pokemon stays awake.

Yea people like Darkrai, I think Dream Eater and Nightmare aren't worth it, I think Darkrai's ability is good enough to chip away HP, after that, I think it's great Special Attack means Dark Pulse and other special moves hit hard and well!

On Rank 8 he had no legendaries? Or do you mean you did 7 battles and the 8th or something was him and he had none? It's just that seems unlikely and weird, they get legendaries from Rank 6 onwards. I'm not calling you a liar, it's just that seems ridiculously odd for rank 8.

I already got a good look because I paused it at :02. You have the Beau pass which consists of Dusknoir, Garchomp, Breloom, Starmie, Infernape and Weavile. Good combination.

Thanks, when I did my first battle against someone I just sort of had to pick quickly and picked a really nice balanced team (with a Porygon-Z instead of Infernape), I found it worked well but Porygon-Z was a little unecessary anddidn't really add anything to my team, Infernape does!
