@aznboij218 Make sure you have the correct driver software for the device, and that the software is running. With Verizon, the program is called VZ Access Manager.
do not fucking get this shit they will only let you use a certain abount of usage per month and it is not that much and the internet is so slow if this is an option. and they charged me 250$ extra because i overused my computer a little more
@WXxXE3XxXW Good point. Whenever you buy wireless service, ask how much bandwidth is included with the plan. If you watch video, you can burn through it really fast and get billed big for overages. I think the current Verizon plan gives you 5 GB per month. Mine is unlimited because I was a subscriber back when they offered unlimited plans. They don't do that anymore.
@26620373FC I don't have a PS3, so I can't say for sure. The computer you plug the Verizon 4G card into needs to have a driver program installed for the card to work, so I doubt it would work with a PS3. They have drivers for Mac and PC, but no PS3.
@26620373FC If you buy the Verizon MiFi wiereless transmitter, you can connect to it using wireless. This may work with a PS3 if the PS3 connects to the internet wirelessly. Look on the Verizon site for MiFi.
is this good because i have 30 mbps download and 25 mbps upload is that good? i am wondering because my friend said 50 mbps wasnt bad but decent! i dont know do i have bad speed i have good internet though.
@ToxicOv3rflow Those are really good numbers. I'm on a fiberoptic connection with a wireless connection to my laptop, and I get 20 MBPS download and 17.95 MBPS upload.
@TinoTeHG33K They don't have an unlimited plan anymore. The rates are: It's $50 for 5 GB per month, and $10 per GB for any overages. Or you can get a 10 GB plan for $80 a month, with $10 per GB for overages.
@dtunzzlistener That's true. Thanks for bringing this up. I'll put a pop-up text box in the video. It's $50 for 5 GB per month, and $10 per GB for any overages. Or you can get a 10 GB plan for $80 a month, with $10 per GB for overages. If you were a 3G customer with an unlimited data plan, you may be able to talk them into keeping your plan unlimited but upgrading you to 4G.
I love how I have verizon and get shit speeds like 20-100 kb/s

Are you still happy with this? I am looking at getting it. Is it consistant? Does it work just as well at any time of the day/night?

@woog74 It works great, and it is consistently faster than 3G. I am always able to get a connection. I recommend it.

Yeah if I had a laptop to take on the go I'd replace my cable with this thing. I don't though. At least for now. Nice review.
kraemder 1 year ago
@kraemder I wouldn't lol.. might be fast but remember the 5GB limit. You can blow through your limit in less than an hour haha

@enigma99a
I think t-mobile has an unlimited plan.. yeah I sure wouldn't want a plan with limits.
