beautiful...bro.thank you for doing this, it give hope for people like me that think day and night there will be no life for next generation.... head up bro...
Happy I was there....no violance, no car smashing, no throwing dustbins, taxis, given way...people of all walks of life were there...even a makcik...pushing her bike...
It was the FRU who fired teargas, unnecessarily...even without any aggression....
w\hile walking back behind the balai polis...traffic policemen standing on the 2nd floor of the balai polis threw 2 plastic bottles of water from the balai polis....no wonder the rakyat call then anjing!!!
Thank goodness for the human spirit; for the true Malaysian. BOLEH LAH!! Such a clever piece of writing. My favourite so far this year of anything I've read or listened to.
I can't dislike this but I wish it'd be more original. Done by Argentina, done for NGOs, done by disillusioned generations, and done by all the above much, much better.
you don't need to credit picasso everytime someone paints a cubism painting. just cos you know that this technique has been used before, as do a lot of us, we don't need to show it off.
Oh just to add that the lost generation piece was not the first to use this technique. It was first used in a political ad campaign in Argentina. Mad creative~ that aside, the lost generation video as well as this video has a powerful script which utilizes this technique very well. :D
@sissyfart (funny moniker!) thanks, didn't know that! fyi, someone replied to me actually saying no need to accredit an 'original' for a derivative creation. he thinks it's just a matter of the original creator wanting to "show off". he likened it to accrediting picasso for a copy of his work - so, apparently, this poetry technique is as distinctively attributable as picasso's technique! i think he's never done anything original.
@rottie@sissyfart It's okay to be inspired and copy from others. everything is borrowed somewhere in bits or wholes. However, an explanatory acknowledgement as per a creative commons licence would be appreciated. This was probably inspired by Jonathan Reed's "Lost Generation". Look it up.
Brillant !!! I must admit that at the first minute of the video, I said "WTH" ...... but thank goodness that I waited till the end! Thank you for doing this video.

I know it's ok. I just meant the way its presented is hardly original and I agree that credit should be given.
