The 909j is only 16,000 lbs heavier, has a huge tail swing and cost a lot more money. Good comparison. Maybe you should run one before coming to such a quick conclusion. I think you would be surprised.
Nothing was more productive then timbco/valmet........seeing these timberpros have the same type of flow/hp and multi tasking capabilities as well as track speed tell me the 909 has nothing on this machine.
Good Point, TimberPro is the same family and workers that designed and produced the Timbco / Valmet tracked bunchers before the company was sold to Valmet / Komatsu. We took our old ideas and knowledge and improved the design. Plus we still offer the best customer service in the forestry market. Trust me, I take service calls about Timbco bunchers and a lot of other forestry machines every day. Just because they can't get help from the manufactures after warranty is done.
It's a new machine I think, can't be as fast with it for that reason maybe?
IMO, the sawhead takes way too long to recover...it's cutting poplar and acts like it's cutting Hickory or Oak....flow issue?
I recently watched a new Valmet 425 with a 22" quadco, and it was much faster / more powerful....not the carrier, I mean the head speed / power. I really like the design of this carrier....This carrier and a Quadco disc saw harvester head would be a great set up.
Wow... The long wait is over! Good job to Pat and all involved in the TimberPro tracked machine. Can't wait to see videos of them with harvester heads.
The 735 looks awesome! Do you have any videos of it working in the pacific northwest?

There are TimberPro TL735B's working in the Pacific Northwest as we speak and they handle anything a Timbco/Komatsu 445 will handle.
