Totally agree with codeastronomer. I don't know if he ever witnessed them when they were truly BJM and not "The Anton Band" but most only know them thru "Dig!" In the day, on stage, they were incredible and you just don't know! Also, yes Anton is a miserable son of a bitch when he gets mad but most of the time he isn't that way. That doc just makes it look that way. No excuses though, he has no right to act the way he occasionally does.
i'm not an expert on BJM but i think Anton is all there is special and beautiful about the BJM. i like the songs Anton has written and the way he recorded them.

New stuff from Joels band The Dilettantes is coming out in July, and some is available on line now I believe. (myspace/thedilettantes) As far as the BJM, I think Anton is recording now again or will be soon, or at least thats what Ive been told.

about staged incidents,that are so welcome,to this interesting band ,who wihout these 'incidents' ,would give sleep inducing concerts.
