@TT13181 I wouldn't say "more successful" necessarily, but it's true that there are a lot of ways to define success. Maybe the OP was talking about his songwriting and the fact that he's produced hits for Beyonce, Far East Movement, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis, Adele, etc. *N SYNC sold a gazillion records and were huge in their day, but on an individual level, I'd say that Ryan Tedder may be more talented and successful than Lance Bass in some ways. Music isn't just about selling records.

I failed to see him just talking about his songwriting/producing. Tedder is definitely more successful in that department. Music isn't about selling records but selling over 1 million in a day/ 2 million in a week is quite a feat. Two albums has sold more than 10 million units. He was part of one of the biggest bands ever

Loving Ryan Tedder because he has a very good ear for what people like to hear -- it's a talent -- and he's good with the lyrics, too, but gawd almighty the guy has GOT to stop stealing (ah-hem, um, *borrowing*) music from other people. Now that I am on to him, I can't help but feel the music and melody here reminds me of two other songs I've heard before, mixed together -- what are they? Any help? OMG! I've been trying to figure out who this guy was for 10 years now. I watched this when it aired on MTV (and have not seen it since).. For 10 years I remembered the "Well I want to know what makes your world go 'round" lyric and I'm just finding out that this is the guy from One Republic...
