I was on the side front row and I was blown away when it came down. I was thinking that the people who are involved with this stuff are just the cutting edge of all time. The 360 tour was the most advanced experience in rock music period. You people at Barco are fantastic.

it's an amazing screen, couldn't believe it when I saw it live, I wish somebody would do a documentary on the tour and the logistics etc, I don't much about the tech side but it must cost alot, do U2 have just one that's taken show to show or like with the stages are there three?

Thanks!, there is only one screen going on tour with U2. It was specifically designed to allow easy and quick build up and break down.

Barco designed the LED screen for the 360 tour and the MiSphere / OLite 510 set up for the Vertigo tour - but they said it was the third time this millennium. What did they do for the Elevation tour?

For the Elevation tour, Barco provided 40 sqm DLite, 4x ELMG10 projectors and 6x 9000 Series LCD projection systems. The Elevation tour in 2001 was the first time U2 used Barco LED.
