Got the same problem only in my country its not an official syndrom. My problem mainly concearns parfums, paint, toilet air sprays. Headache and heavy slime production the day after is smelled it, is the result. That day it feels like muriatic acid is running through my arteries in my nose, ears, neck and sinuses. Long time i thought food ingredients where my problem. Taking magnesium/citrat 250 mg a day helps my arteries keep calm. Might be a solutions for some. Grtz from Holland.

I have MCS as well, after many years I finally found a doctor who was willing to look at every possible avenue. She eventually found I have multiple ricketsial strains, such as Q-fever in my system in their chronic form causing the MCS. So please, if you have MCS ask your doctor to test you for ricketsial micro plasmas. I'm not better yet, but there is treatment for the microplasmas.

Couldnt go in that. all that stuff. In Australia we dont care about people with mcs, cfs, fms, took a decade to discover I couldnt live ina house after horrendous anaphalactic reactions, all houses have some mould or something, computer & mobile 5 mins only but still all symptoms; stop breathing, spin, heart rate SPEEDS, headache, cant put a sentence together, seeing double, lose my voice AND mostly the pain in my body will double!!!, Does anyone get better?

i have mcs. and i would recommend cleaning ll that junk out of her house, including all that rusty stuff. also sunglasses ruin your adrenal glands. why? because sunlight activates your insides and depriving yourself of natural light you get severely sick. i used to wear sunglasses ALL THE TIME before i got mcs, even when they werent necessary.

I know this lady and her case , she was dropped off 12yrs ago with noel edmonds by air, promised by South somerset D.C that they would build her a allergy free home that year, lies lies ,12 yrs later she is still there.On monday the 10th of aug they plan to evict this lady to a caravan that is not even ready for a normal human being never mind someone with M.C.S.

anyone know what Croscarmellose Sodium is...I checked all over the internet and can't find what it's side effects are. It's in my digestive enzymes.

By the way, yeah, MCS is terrible.. My mother has it (we all have it to some degree) and it can be so debilitating in this world...but hopes around the corner!

As a sufferer of severe MCS myself I know what that reaction feels like from the inside. You would not wish it on your worst enemy.

Whether we use to be teachers, lawyers, secretaries, nurses, farmers, I.T. Managers like myself, or any other professional, tradesperson, or labourer we are ALL reduced to this in minutes (sometimes seconds)by the slightest presence of a triggering chemical.

You don't have to know or even suspect the triggering chemical is around. You simply react.

This is an extraordinarily unlikely story. Gillian appears to be exhibiting a Munchausen's type disorder, hence refusal to be medically assessed because she would be referred for a psychiatric assessment where this would be established.
