I dont think your looking at this bill the right way. You can say that no illegal immigrants will get health care or credits under this bill. But we all know that there are lope holes in every thing the government does. Its the fact that the bill does nothing to keep the illegal immigrants from getting it.

However (and quite frankly), I don't expect that to satisfy the Republican faithful, since they're mostly just interested in making excuses to kill health care reform.

If someone lies about their immigration status, gets a fake SS card, breaks the law, or whatever, that is a different issue. The fact is Wilson and the Bush administration did nothing about illegal immigration. Obama will do something about it. And, he won't give amnesty or deport them. Instead, why not make them pay a fine, register them and make them start paying taxes. Is that so hard? Do you know how much tax revenue the government could bring in by doing that?
