@ballito963 it's against the devil and sin. examine each line in context of the whole song..at the end you could say he's sarcastic 'cause he basically says "go ahead, if you love sin/wickedness so much, go ahead and take the mark/number of the beast, it's what you want, you won't listen to warnings, you hate God, you'll be separated from Him forever." last lines also sound like reverse psychology since he doesn't actually want people to perish but rather so they'll accept God's love.

Christianity contains many religious aspects, such as baptism and communion. This whole 'Jesus hates religion' attitude seems to becoming more and more popular in Christian hardcore and metal scenes, and while it's a fun idea, it simply isn't accurate.
@StevenRudolph i think the point of "Jesus/Christianity isn't religion" is that relig. activities/rituals/traditions/keeping law/observing feasts/reading Scriptures isn't going to save a person, only Jesus Christ the Way can save a person, by God's grace through faith. Jesus observed feasts, kept the law, participated in relig. activities but He made the point that relig. duty/lip service/hypocrisy won't save, only He saves. to understand it better, study of the subject is needed.
@dayoftheVictor I absolutely agree with you. Jesus made it clear that religion isn't what saves a person, however that doesn't mean that religion is inherently bad. I think religion has its place, namely just as an organized, formal expression of a saving relationship with God. I would say that Jesus only hates religious rituals/traditions/whatever when they are idolized above himself, which unfortunately seems to be the case for many people.

Instead, faith (a gift from God) produces fruit in our lives.
