Well he's was never given a chance by Xfactor to progress from the first stages of boot camp. A lot of people believe it was simply because he was unknown to them before the show. He is truly talented and the point of the facebook group "John Adams X-factor 2011: Lets get John up to Christmas number 1" The point of the group is to support this talented guy and to support the thousands of unsigned artists out there that work really hard.
