This is actually quite a different sound from Rybak! Is more norwegian folklore-sounding than is other songs that's more inspired by old sovjetic folk-lore.

I like it, but he could have choosen a different song to make a cover out of.

Being an edinburgh boy 500 miles by the proclaimers is a song i have pretty much been brought up on especially being a hibby aswell. This version is truly awful and that is an honest no bias opinion. Fair enough the guy song at eurovision deserved to win but that doesn't make him a superstar who can play anything. I never thought i would hate this song but somehow ryback has pulled it off.
