@Reminiscable The hawk is only in the movie. When I made this I watched the movie and read the book and couldn't remember what was in which. I was a 15 year old kid and made this in 3 days 9 years ago, so please excuse the amateur quality.
I first heard this story on FEN radio in Tokyo in 1973 - the entire book was nerated by Richard Harris and I have never heard it since. I would love to know if anyone else has heard this version and where I can get a copy. He did such a wonderful job of it.
Contrary to previous comments.. I think you did an excellent rendition of JLS! Amazingly well at that... considering you were 15 at the time! I am glad you decided to leave this up.. Your little clip was a pleasant little gift to me today! Thanks so much Christian!

Jeez, will SOMEBODY make an acceptable film of this book?! The animation is the least of your problems, villainousturtle. Besides, as far as first-person bird narratives go, I always preferred Tico and the Golden Wings.
Sorry to sound Simon Cowellesque, but that's my opinion and I stand by it. And I did see the movie recently; couldn't get past the first twenty minutes because it was so slow and boring. Not even Neil Diamond (who I find underrated as a singer) saved it.
i wonder if i can tell the cops jonathon livingstone told me i could follow my dreams and nother can stand in my way next time i get court doing a crime =]
Wow what a very beautiful Video. I would love to have mine attached somehow to yours. Please feel free to add yours up as a Video response to mine if you would like to. It would please me so for you have the missing LINK to my own attempt to capture what the book and movie meant to me through music. You have the story that goes. WOW how lovely and wonderful it is! I am truly humbled... His autumnrain, becca @-->------
Why is there no hawk in my book? Ok - I can't take this seriously! "You are hereby outcast... He could even teleport!"

Why say you're embarrased? It's better than the stuff I've tried but failed to post.

Ha, I was a little kid when I made this and it was rushed in 3 days for a school project. Sorry to disappoint you.
