Dude I'm in middle school too. Don't worry we have lots of time. But my band just covered this (we picked up a cellist too. It was sweet!) and we rushed at first also. Play to a metronome next time it'll help with your tempo a lot.

Pretty decent job there, but kinda had the same little "technical" problems (cord falling out?) I don't know, but not tryin to start shit. Our drummer was being a bit of a prick and wouldn't practice the song and the rhythm was havin a bit of trouble and he was only playing for 2 or 3 months. The "show" got worse when the principal let some stupid-ass jock come on the stage at the end. Really didn't do anything with those guys since.

the second click of the british amp setting will do you good for anything, but there isn't really much of a range with effects, so i suggest using your own pedals for stuff like flanging, phasing, delay-ing, etc
