Your free will is a slave to your heart which before salvation is stony. God never gave us a choice John 15:16 puts it plainly when it says Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. You have free will to choose whats right but before salvation you will not make the right choice.
You attack someones knowledge of the scripture rather than oppose their message? Great job! Now it's my turn to insult your intelligence. Your lack of alphabet knowledge is noted by your message.
You must not believe that Gods will is stronger than our will and thus God is not all powerful.
I really do not have time for unlearnd people who cannot understand the Bible. I ddi not attack your knowledge. I simply stated a fact taht is you are bible ignorant. That is your problem not mine.
Where have I said that man determines who is saved and who is not? As God directed Peter to say "it is not God's will that any should perish" but you seem to want to get people into hell irregardless of what God wishes. God has elected and He elected all people to be saved but because of their free will many will not be saved. What you choose is double predestination. BTW are you a 4 tulip or a five tulip person? They seemed to be confused how many tulips there are.
God says do what you wish, but make the wrong choice and you will be tortured for eternity in hell. That sir, is not free will. It would be akin to a man telling his girlfriend, do what you wish, but if you choose to leave me, I will track you down and blow your brains out. When a man says this we call him a psychopath and cry out for his imprisonment. When god says the same we call him loving and build churches in his honor
From all the comments it looks like a lot of Free Wills at work tonight. But we do have a free will. I do not believe God picks and chooses who goes to heaven. It doesn't say much about God's love if He does that.
Isn't free will a great thing! :D I agree with you Romans. He didn't make a robot society to worship him. But he gave us free will to come to him and his will is that we will all be saved.
I hope one day Christians can come together on these issues and not have so many unbiblical doctrines floating around. And we wonder why people are confused.
There is a far more dangerous of people that I might give some attention to soon. "The Sacred Name Movement." A very dangerous group and many Christi and on youtube are playing footsie with them.
I have a thing for Irish proverbs or blessings. I use to work home heath many years ago and had some very sweet Irish Catholic clients that I just adored and most of them had Irish prayers framed and hanging on the walls. I took a liking to them and I had such a love for my clients and their families - It was very mutual and I miss them.
Like many that have an hidden agenda, many of them will not reveal who they are. Take a guess at the one thread that holds all these people together. Even if it means aligning themselves with atheist and non-Christian groups.
Mr. Bings, you do have a wonderful gift of explaining Roman Catholic doctrine thru the Bible (even tho its King Jimmy's version :) I know we have few doctrinal/dogma differences, but you are a true gentleman and Christian, and do bash people. One cannot convert people by running over them with a Mack Truck - we have to choose.
Thanks but I have reduced to a 14 wheeler so that is 4 wheels less. I keep them handy just in case though. Defense of the Bible is what our church fathers did, I am by no mean as smart as they were but I can try.
I am glad you said something about a follow-up. This is one topic that I see others disagreeing with and say man does not have a free will. I believe we do have a free will. I chose folgers over maxwell house this morning. Did God make me do that?
Way more than they want you to know. Others are starting to use the names they do without knowing what is involved. Thus Bingolly1 comes on the scene with facts.
I was off wandering around yahpooing. I haven't been able to read enough yet to draw a conclusion. Was going to look a few sites. I was tying this video into Calvinism.
iam 3/4 thu book just out on Mother Teresa private journals. Oooh thought I had had 'dark nights of the soul' (losing fther when i was 9 months pregnant, going thru 'empty nest syndrome' when my one and only gift child daughter left for college) - nothing to wht Mother Teresa went thru. The nights I Screamed at God I was so mad. How she carried on in face of seeing evil work day after day after day truly does make her a saint!!!! and that's my 2 cents worth as we say in The Bahamas!
I can't help but remember years ago I read she saw a man who was dying on the sidewalk and people were passing over him. He was so ill and full of sores that he had maggots crawling out of him. :/ She took him in and gave him dignity and love before he died. The things she saw had to trouble her soul.
To say we do not have a free will is not to say what the Bible teaches. As you have said we cannot superimpose our beliefs and carry the verses where they do not go.
That is my point with many of the videos I make. Another way to say it is "The Bible teaches us what to believe. We don't teach the Bible what we believe." To much inserting your beliefs that way.
It had it's beginning with Calvin even though the idea was there before him. But like others they split before they even united. Some have a 5 points of TULIP others have 4 points of TULIP. So they divided early. What a fine mess.
If necessary I will follow this video up with another showing more verses showing "Free Will." This is something that is shown many times and not just these verses.

Your statement contradicts itself. You say "God says do as you wish." That is free will. There are consequences to any wrong choice. Thanks

I am doing it for several reasons actually. And yes I am going to be making some videos about TULIP.

that would be very interesting, and have as much credibility as shades of Bill Clinton, "all" does not mean "all"
