  • actually that is layup 101. Npthing wrong there. NBA refs are pretty effed up with the travel violation.

  • Didn't look like a travelling violation to me.

  • it is not a travel, only two steps then shoot

  • 3 steps only is it a travel?

  • @eustass2011 Hey dribbled. Only 2 steps. It was not a foul.

  • @Bears85yemi what foul? it was offside

  • he need to stop watching lebron

  • EVERYBODY KNEW THAT WASN'T A TRAVEL ANYWAY

  • lebron never travels, its all the haters sayin he travels!

  • @thepersianlion he does travel, every player does it's just the fact that hes travels are sometimes really extreme and never get called but when someone like Chauncey Billups makes a good play and they don't know for sure they just call travel, they would never do that to lebron.

  • if you guys recall this game, the original call on the play was a travel, but after the refs review the call was ruled a basket.

  • yeah that's not a travel. dribble then two steps.

  • thanx for this being real

  • that wasnt a travel he took 2 shots before releaseing it

  • He dribble one,two ohhh I dont know lololol

  • reffs are the the maggots of every sport today!

  • it was in slow motion.. and the refs thought it was a travel because other players are too quick an may travel

  • 2 steps. terrible call

  • THIS IS NOT A TRAVEL BAD CALL!

  • he did travel out there, right into the ass who uploaded this shit

  • how, and when did he travel? he bounced, then took two steps. thats allowed, unless they changed the rules again!?!?

  • I dont see a travel. I see a dripple plus 1 step. Then he's aloud 2 steps..thats exactly what he did ..

  • he traveled all the way to New York

  • @Bangura187 And now he's back in the west with the clippers but out for the season with an Achilles injury.

  • This is not a travel first of all lol...SMH

  • Good shot, bad travel

  • but it was a bad call....

  • I saw the title, thought "This could be funny", saw it again, thought "You have to retarded to travel 75 feet", then he heaves it that amount. Entirely misleading.

  • at least it wasnt lebron this time

  • LOL @ the LeBron traveling meme. I love it.

  • didn't look like much a travel...

  • IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY..YOU CAN SEE LEBRON TRAVEL

  • Wow, he didn't even travel. For real, refs?

  • he actually didnt travel, as you can see if you look at his feet on 0:01 - 0:02, he clearyly didnt travel

  • @DaleAustin914 Are you serious? lol

  • lebron does this on a daily basis....not the shot, but the title.

  • Nice quality

  • 2 steps is not a travel

2 or more feet is not a foot

  • 2 steps = not a traveling

  • @fowlyf if it was lebron 6 steps = not a travel

  • @SongLyrics248 If you could count, you could see that LeBron doesn't travel. Other players travel much more than him.

  • i was watching this video over and over trying to find the travel...

  • I like how the ref doesn't give a shit

  • It is clear that this isn't a travel....whether you are 2 feet from the rim or 75 feet from the rim if you take two steps towards the basket to take a shot then its fine........lol and yea I though he was going to travel 75 feet too such a misleading title.

  • Haha...def a travel! Watch what the ref sees...his foot lands 3 times before he even takes that dribble, a TRAVEL!!! You CAN NOT see it in the replay! Watch the play as it happens, SLOWLY, and you will see what happens.

  • how is that travel he took 2 steps

  • Lebron...oh nevermind

  • no travel

  • not travel,stupid referees

  • its funny how they call this a travel and never call one on lebron.

  • @3dylanjay lebron takes 2 steps.. last time i checked thats not a travel

  • @B3AN40

c'mon man, lebron travels A LOT, not all the time, but more than he should and luckily not all are called.

  • @Bugs1238 60% 40% hahaha

  • @3dylanjay yup

  • @3dylanjay They barely call them at all? Figures a hater like you would bitch about it.

  • there was no travel

  • its not a travel, stupid refs

  • @Paunk8452 he did kind of jump in the air to get around the guy while holding the ball :L

  • GOD DAMN TRAVELING!!!!!!!

  • OMG that black ref is a MORON. I hate it when refs try to take over the game

  • There Was No Travel.

  • Also, I don't see how him "moving his pivot foot" matters after the dribble, as some have said.

  • This is not even a travel. Guy takes two steps. If you see three or four, then you are drunk.

  • was not a travel, dumb ass refs...

  • I was expecting Billups to run down the court....

  • it wasnt a travel WTF

  • definitely didn't travel 75 feet.

  • when was there a travel stupid ass refs learn the game

  • Comment removed

  • @caparis79 no can you see he got he bounced it he took step then two jumped and shot before he landed

  • @ImJoshinYah yeah it took me a couple views to notice he dribbled before the shot

  • not a travel at all, he took two steps and then the shot

  • @ELFERNANDO17 when he first landed on his left after the dribble that was the pivot foot then he picked the left up again after taking another step.

  • @ELFERNANDO17 3 or 4. but it looked legit without slow motion.

  • @ELFERNANDO17 actually, im not even too sure. but if the ref called that travel, he has slow motion sensor in his body lol

  • i got confused as hell when i looked at the title and then saw it was from the nba's official channel

  • THAT WAS NOT A TRAVEL!

  • That's a lay-up, right?

  • Did anyone else thought it was a video game replay?

  • thats not a travel!

  • that wasn't a fuckin travel!

  • how is that traveling? if you think that's traveling you don't know the rules. he moved his right foot while keeping his pivot foot dribbled then took 2 steps and shot it.

  • not a travel, simple 2-step motion

  • @djekna Sucks it didn't count, but it was 3 steps.

Picks up ball, foot still planted.

Starts his step through. 2 steps

Finishes step through. Shoots ball, 3 steps.

  • @OptimalStudios he dribbled the ball in between

  • behind there own 4 point line

  • I've clicked on this video at least 10 times in the past year and every time I expected to see Chauncey pick up the ball and then run 75 feet, I still haven't learned my lesson

  • @GBJR32 hell yeah , i just did the same thing

  • thats not a travel

  • Not a travel. It just looked awkward because he took off of his right foot. A right handed shooter takes off of their left foot but he was rushed to get the shot off.

  • @mastadon7771 his other foot didn't touch the ground yet..therefore he didn't travel

  • well we wont know for sure

  • not a travel

  • man u don't call a travel at the end of a quarter unless its obvious... that wasn't obvious

  • That was not a travel, clearly took 2 steps

  • dumb referee. that's not a travel.

  • I thought he was going to travel for 75 feet. Misleading titles..

  • @phubarr0 me too

  • @phubarr0 bet they still wouldnt call it, though

  • @phubarr0

    lmao

  • @phubarr0 lmao same here.

  • the travel happens before he takes the shot. if you look closely, when billups gets the rebound, his left foot moves a bit, establishing his right foot as his pivot foot. then he goes right, left, right. three steps. not to mention it looked super awkward.

  • Chauncey : DAMN!

  • i love the net stayed in the position it was in after the ball went in

  • legal

  • Where's the travel?

  • not a travel. What a crime that he can get called for that but no calls everyday for lebron

  • @AxelPRC u aint never lie

  • now if you look closely you can see that lebron traveled....

  • that was only 2 not 3

  • no travel 1 2 and he puts it up

  • damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • travel?? what the fuck

  • Travelling?! No way!

He dribbled, took two steps and a put a shot up, just like a layup...

  • That is not a travel .. it just looks really awkward and gets mistakenly called a travel by people

  • not a travel at all -__-

  • net came out

  • Totally a layup no foul!

  • that was his crab walk

  • this was for sure not a travel i get called travel by rotten refs with but it isn't euro step

  • fucking bullshit since when was dribbling then taking 2 steps a travel?

  • @Shamoles you are hilarious bro. learn the game. its called a pivot foot. what he did was a blatant travel

  • It's called a Euro-step... That was NOT a travel!

  • @34jordan34 retard

  • Definitely not a travel. One step, then a dribble, then 2...

  • NBA and its fucking misleading title video

  • ONIONS

  • Really hard call to make. From our point of view it's easy sure but from the ref his view...

    I would not have called.

  • You know you're kind of a big deal, when you can do a Euro Step at the other end of the court and make it look effortless when it goes in. Then you know you aren't a big deal when they call for travel.

  • No Travel..2 steps when he shuffled b4 bouncin

  • I only counted 2 steps

  • He did a 75ft euro step

  • thats not a trav

  • Meanwhile, Lebron travels like fuck and nothing happens

  • @netweit3

    It's good to be King!!

  • @netweit3 Yep.

What I hope to see happen: Game 7 of the NBA Finals @ Miami. Heat down by 1, with mere seconds left on the clock. LeBron drives into the lane, dunks the ball on the buzzer to give the Heat a 1 point lead. The crowd goes beserk, they think Miami won the the championship. But the ref blows his whistle, and calls a travelling violation on LeBron. The away team wins the 2012 championship! And LeBron goes home and cries :D

  • @netweit3 meanwhile lebron makes a shit ton of money and you dont

  • WTF???This was an amazing regular shot!!He clearly did two legit steps!!

  • IDK

  • Wasn't travel. He dribbles, then clearly only takes two steps

  • aha, commentator cant count @0:17

    "1,2... i dont know!"

  • wasn't travelling, he dribbled on the 1st step then a legit one, two

  • lol tht wasnt a travel he took 2 steps who ever said he traveled is a idiot and doesnt know rules of basketball and also cant count

  • That was NOT travel... Judge made a mistake...

  • @HeartAndSoulOfRnR didn't know there were judges in basketball

  • it'd be a HUGE 3 step layup !

  • I didn't think that was a travel...

  • That absolutely was not a travel.

  • Misleading tittle, expected a real dumb play by billups? anyone else?

  • That was NOT a travel. His pivot stays planted before the dribble. When he completely pulls up his dribble, when he grabs the ball with the other hand, he takes one step, then shoots on his second step. The NBA refs suck big time. If you are not a scholar of basketball, this may look like a travel, but it is not.

  • I thaught he was going to take 75 steps without dribbling

  • bullshit that wasnt a ttravel

  • @straightupjacked look at his pivot foot before the dribble. It was a travel.

  • that wasnt a travel lol

  • yeah 75 feet wass't close

  • they were still winning...stupid call

  • clearly NOT a travel. Im telling yall go to NBA.com and find the refs section or 'rule book' and R E A D what is defined as a travel by the book. That's 3 points stolen from the man with the name Mr. Big Shot Billups

  • They call a travel like that, but they don't catch lebron waltzing up the court?

  • @comic1dude oh look guys another lebron travelling joke.

  • @comic1dude

    It's good to be King!!

  • The two times I've been to nuggets games: I witness this travel, and I witnessed Durant's game winning 3 to sink OKC on the road in '08-'09 season

  • That wasn't a travel. He's making the rebound and gathering himself. Takes a dribble and then takes a few steps before the shot. Think of it like a lay-up, if Lebron James doesn't get called for his travels, then this clearly isn't even close to one.

  • @ShawdowRaptor You're fucking kidding me. He takes one clear step after getting the ball standing still and before bouncing the ball, travelling. "Gathering himself"...that's hilarious. It's nothing new that the referees in the NBA suck sweaty balls, but I didn't know fans were as ignorant as well.

  • @panetero No, you're wrong. When you catch the ball after a pass or rebound like that, and you land on two feet, whichever foot you move next is considered the pivot foot. He could've put his right foot down on the ground and continued to pivot around without it being a travel.

  • @Joet80t Then european rules are different, you can't land on both feet and make another step, that gives you a huge advantage. Again, you can't receive the ball while standing and take a step without bouncing the ball first. All American players make that mistake when they come to Europe, of course there are players with high IQ that understand that difference and assimilate it quickly. Bo McCalebb is the biggest proof, he's NBA material.

  • @panetero Hmm.. that may be it. You can't receive the ball while standing and take a step without dribbling in American basketball either. Catching a pass or rebound in the air allows you to do so. I'm passionate about this (and recently researched it) because I'm sick of all the travelling that occurs in the NBA, even after the officials publicly said that they were going to try and crack down on it.

  • @Joet80t So are you allowed to take three steps if you catch the ball while running for a layup or a dunk? I mean in the NBA, 'cause I see that a lot. I know NBA rules favour fastbreaks and all, but it's too much for me. It's like they can make a fastbreak even without bouncing...

  • @panetero No no I mean if you catch the ball off a pass or rebound and land on two feet in a "jump stop" fashion, you are then allowed to establish a pivot foot. However if you are dribbling the ball and then come to a jump stop, you are no long allowed to move either foot. So what I saw Chauncey do was catch the rebound, land on two feet, establish his "pivot foot" as his left foot, and take a step with his right foot while beginning to dribble the ball.

  • @ShawdowRaptor You are correct. That is not a travel. He puts the ball down before he lifts the pivot foot, then gets the shot off on his second step. Everyone who thinks it was a travel is ignorant of current basketball rules.

  • i would have gave it to him if i was a ref

  • 2 steps, like a long lay up, not a travel.
