Thank you for commenting and the info. I have concluded that he is a she. Zippy has been registered since she was just a little peanut. (although I was worried she might not pass smog).

8 is about old enuf to tell if it's a male or fe if the bottom is concave its a male a long tell male if it's a female sort small tell and flat bottom!!! I have a female I juste rescued. You should get yours registered too!
