technically they are the same, but according to the "story" of the ride, the tunnel changes color to the room of riches that it's suppose to lead you to before you stare in the eyes of Mara, if the room is purple then it leads to the Observatory of the Future where you can have your destiny predicted, if it's yellow, then it leads to the room of gold , the Chamber of Earthly Riches. and if the if the room is aqua green, then it's the Fountain of Eternal Youth. kinda fun to see what door you get.
yea but the only difference is that when u go up the hill to him u go to a different door one door is eternal youth one is too see the future and the other one is wealth only diffrence is the color at the beggining and the noises at the beggining
we didint need em it was so crazy we looked on the sign and said the wait was 30 mins we went in too see how bad it was and it took us less then 5 mins to get on! the sign scared em away
I think this is the kind of ride they would have done for Mr. Toad's Wild Ride had they had the money and technonolgy when they first built Disneyland. Amazing how far they have come.
there are drops, but they arent very big. i wuld say the biggest drop is at the end when you back up (actually the room moves) and go down under the boulder. Nothing too bad!!!

I would not recommend this ride if one has back problems. This ride is rather jarring and jerky. I'm not into those sort of rides, but since I love the ambiance of the archeological sites, etc., it made the ride feel more "realistic." As I said though, the ride is sort of extreme for older people though, at least those who are frail. Would not recommend it.
uum .. about 12 people can fit in a car, theres 3 throws. its really bumpy, but it doesnt drop too much. i wouldnt exactly call it scary, but its like a really cool adventure. there is a big snake that comes right at u and a big boulder too.
Like about 12 seats,there's only one drop in the end.And no,It's not scary,It's mostly dark and nothing will pop out at you, except the big snake, you just have to look away and all is good.=)It's a really comfortable and fun ride.Just imagine it as a mix of Star Tours and The Matterhorn.
No, since the part you're sitting on can tilt in any direction, like star tours they move it down to make it feel like a drop, but there are only dips in the ride.
this ride gave me a headache, nausea, and the whole rest of the day i was here, i couldn't hear out of my right ear because i sat at the right end and the snake hissed SO LOUD in my ear

I used to go with my parents all the time when we lived in CA when I was really little. I'm now 19 (almost 20) and I can't wait to go again in March! My parents are 43 and 44 and they still love it!
Oh an this is my favorite ride in the entire park. Probably because Indiana Jones are some of my favorite movies.
Just so you know: the room at the beging w/the diffrent doors is the same track. the room rotates. you cant see in this video, but the tracks leading to the diffrent doors are not conected to the main track. plus if you stand on the loading dock and look at the mirrors as a car goes in it will rotate after the car goes through a door. (sorry if that was confusing) :)

I have nothing to do with you or the person you're responding too but i can beat that. i have an annual pass and usually go with a friend in a wheelchair, so ive been on this probably over a hundred times.
for trackstaar... its supposed to be "evil beyond of the underworld" escaping from the door to attavk you. or at least thats what a cast member told me...
ha ha I remember when i first whent on that ride. u know in the begining where they tell u not to look in the eyes...something. well I kept my head down the whole time! I was so little. LOL
I guess I can kinda relate. I took my friends son on this and he was pretty young. At the same time as you he put his head down and was scared out of his mind and wouldn't look up. What was strange is that he loved Space Mountain and Tower of Terror. This is such a great ride though.

they only have a stunt show and also the same ride is in TokyoDisneySea but it envoles crystl sckulls and some other changes but it's the same ride...In japanese...

ha ha I remember when i first whent on that ride. u know in the begining where they tell u not to look in the eyes...something. well I kept my head down the whole time! I was so little. LOL

I guess I can kinda relate. I took my friends son on this and he was pretty young. At the same time as you he put his head down and was scared out of his mind and wouldn't look up. What was strange is that he loved Space Mountain and Tower of Terror. This is such a great ride though.

omg! this brings back memories! like when i rode this the first time..omg! it scared the gajeepers outa me! but now.. i'm like.. ohh!! but it's a real bumpy ride! and it makes my mouth all dry for some reason..like i went to the tokyo disneyland like a few years ago..and OMG! they had..like a different indiana jones ride! it was totally different! u should go!

Aww, it went through the middle door! I've only been through the middle door once. Just watching the video shows how bumpy the ride is! I love this ride!

they only have a stunt show and also the same ride is in TokyoDisneySea but it envoles crystl sckulls and some other changes but it's the same ride...In japanese...
