  • why do some recording are dry,,,and muddy ?????what could be the cause?

  • Nice tutorial, ,, I have a question, I bounced as WAV file and the size is so big 60.9 MB , I see that a regular song has like 6 or 7 MB only, can you help me with that... thanks

  • @darcort Yo, you have to have a program to convert the file from wave to mp3 or acc, etc. (i.e: Itunes-"convert to 'acc' or mp3'")

    hOPE THAT HELPS SOME

  • thanks..that like really helped because im trying to bounce my track to itunes..but does it matter if i have a different version? i have 8

  • Thanks alot man. This really helped out!

  • I have Pro Tools LE 8... which mp3 option do i need to buy? the "iLok License 7.3+" or the "Auth Code 5.0.1+"?

  • thanks bro!! I had totally forgot what sample and bit rate to set it on!

  • Thanks man, you guided me all the way through it lol AWESOME !!!

  • Nice Job

  • I went through the steps, but the disk is exiting blank. I have a mac book pro. I'm in need of attention. Help!

  • Great videos

  • I don't have the option "analog 1-2" ... all I have is "Out 1-2" is there a reason for this?

  • very helpful,ur a good teacher man,thanks

  • Thankyou Sir for These Tutorials

  • You can also do it this way:

    1. Bounce all of your tracks down to an Audio Track.

    2. Record your mixed tracks to the Bounced Audio Track.

    3. Once that is complete you will have a Stereo Track of your bounced Mix.

    4. Double click the region and name it (the song name, etc.)

    5. In your regions list, right click and "save file as"

This method has always worked for me. : )

  • when i try to bounce to disk, the option to bounce to disk is greyed out and i cant bounce it...will someone please tell me why its greyd out

  • i need a copy of protools

  • is it because i am on windows xp too slow or what

  • Heres MY problem...When I bounce my session, and i play it back on iTunes through my computers speakers, my mix sounds like shit...but when i play back my mix through my powered speakers, it sounds fine...What should i do?!?! PLEASE RESPOND!!!!

  • check the mix on the computer speakers and make the adjustments there but dont go crazy also make sure your master is not clipping. computer speakers = shit so dont worry, but if your curious just use a boom box or i pod player or go sit in your car to check the mix. then you will hear what its going to sound like to regular people without powered monitors.

  • How should i make adjustments to the mix on my computers speakers...just so you know i use an iMac...but how shall i do THAT...

  • Print the mix (make a CD or mp3) go play it anywhere see what it sounds like go back and fix it until its perfect. Is the kick to loud where is my snare did the vocal just pop out etc.. critical listening in an ordinary environment. get it good luck

  • @The7thL did you figure it out yet

  • Dude thank you soo much!!! You are the man! Totally helpful. 5 STARS

  • As far as i can remember i am the original CAPT!

  • Can anybody help me with this problem?... When I try to bounce the track, I get this message every time...

    -----

The operating system held off interrupts for too long. If this occurs often, try increasing the "H/W Buffer Size" in the Playback Engine Dialog. (-9092)

    -----

When I increase it, it then says... "try reducing..." so it's a no-win situation!

I disconnected my internet and turned off my anti-virus/firewall software. There are no other programs open or running. Is it a Windows problem?

  • I run windows xp and had the same problem. it has nothing to do with windows. turns out its a memory problem. when playing back or bouncing to disk, if you have too many plugins running at the same time it uses a lot of memory.

you can either buy more memory (i have 4 gb of memory now and recomend this and works really good)

    or

bounce each track with the desired effect plugin and use the the new wave file in your project.

  • cheers

  • u need a faster pc maybe more ram..

  • Nope... read my reply.

  • I had that same problem.. I found out i had to reinstall the asio drivers... try that.. also download a program called dpclatency checker... doing that will fix your problem.

  • That sounds promising. I've just gotta figure out what the asio drivers are! haha

    Cheers for the heads up
