in some scenes it does look like its stuttering? could that be ? i mean i heard a lot about micro stuttering :(

@fuzzyduzzy - Thanks! The stuttering is mainly caused by the camera and video editing... microstuttering with 2-way Crossfire is very slight.

@nicolasvetere - I run all my regular benchmarks without AA to be able to compare results to nVidia graphics cards - AA looks and performs different on ATi and nVidia GPUs.

hi arvutihull im seeing your benchmarks and im worry because mi pc dont have the same performance like yours this is my specs ati 5970 saphire oc edition phenon2 x4 955 be 8 gigas ram 1333 and board asus m4a785d in games like assasins creed 2 the game dont exceeds the 60 fps i have the vsync off and far cry 2 bench mark my score was 79 fps and crysis dont exceeds the 25 fps i have drivers 10.6 what can be the problem thx

@shintahalo - Your CPU may bottleneck the 5970 a bit, I'd overclock it - should help a lot.

Ok, I need some help with this. I was planning on get 2 ATI Radeon HD 5970 2GB.

1.) Does that mean if I get 2 cards I will have a better Picture?

2.) And 2 cards with 2GB each will work together as 4GB?

3.) OR SHOULD I JUST STICK WITH 1 ATI Radeon HD 5970 4GB, SINCE 4GB IS OUT NOW?

@uphill248 - No having more cards won't make the picture look better, only the performance will be better. Two regular 5970's are a much better choice than 4GB 5970, the Sapphire 4GB 5970 isn't worth it's price at all. 4GB 5970 would work as a 2x2GB card because it's dual-GPU. Two 5970's in Crossfire would be 4x1GB.

@uphill248 there is no ''better pictures'' only better performance, the card doesnt enchance ur graphics...it all depends on the game itself.

@miodragtv - With XP you can't, you need Vista or Win 7. With hacks maybe you can get DirectX10 working on Windows XP, but it's easier to just install Vista or Win 7.

This video goes to show, that if you have your CPU at default you will bottleneck this card!!!! My I7 920 is sitting at 2.85.... Man I need to jack it up to get better performance!!!! :)
