do you have any work done to your transmission thats alot of power will the stock ones hold im in the process of doing a build very similar to your g8s but with the whipple instead of the maggie.
This is my car. I currently own the quickest 1/4 pass for the Pontiac G8 @ 10.07@136.01. I have a couple people close on my heels and the first 9sec pass in a G8 will happen in the spring either by me or a couple of others. Who will be the first stay tuned!

Nice, and I like the tune that allowed more peak torque than horsepower. For years everyone thought Hp was everything, now we all know better its the torque that really matters.
Funny thing is at the track I had to pull 10 degrees of timing from idle to 5600 to keep the slicks from blowing away. Then once above 5600 the car went to full timing and shift extensions were never below that 5600 so it was the best of both worlds. The TVS just hits so hard out of the hole it is violent.
