  • Cool, Love it !!

  • This ia a great video. This car sat and wasnt appreciated for a while whether thru financial difficulty or whatever. It is still in restorable condition and since it was posted on youtube someone will restore her to her original beauty!

  • She's TIRED. ..... And beautiful

  • A piece of art from the past

  • I would take that in a heart beat but not @ 22k still an awesome car even though it was a daily driver back in the day.

  • I hope she found a good home. We've had our 69' Hurst Olds since 72' and would die if she got that bad.

  • i'd drive that the way it is....over any import any day!

  • well at least he kept the inside clean

  • More like a "hurts" Olds, considering how much it hurts me to see one of my dream cars in that kind of shape... I hope someone rescues it the way I rescued my '79 Olds.

  • what a shame, lets hope this car is returned to its former glory!

  • It seems that once in a while one of these monsters are found parked in someones driveway or back lot just going to waste. I saved one just like this, I wish I could save them all but I can't. Just don't understand why anyone would let such a rare car deteriorate. Must be one of those guys that every year tells you "Oh, it's not for sale, I'm going to restore it this year" Ya right, as the decades go by.

  • They got one at the volo auto museum near chicago for 79,000...its got like 450 hps and its shiny as fuck

  • its depressing to look at but at least it runs

  • I'd kill for that car lol.

  • one of my favorite cars along with the GTO judge

  • Why do i find this car Extremly vicious... The sound, omg

  • 455 h/o with a dualgate?! wow i hope someone can rescue her. that has lots of potential.

  • sounds horrible but still awesaome

  • I have a '79 H/O all done, trade?

  • sounds good

  • Talk about a dream find! please tell me if this car is being restored, an absolute shame if its not! Amazing to see this car so complete still!

  • SICK Hurst/Olds!!!!! wow pleaseeeee sell it to me! I'd love to have 2! I have a 1983 Hurst/Olds, and i took out the stock 307 and put in a 455 that is bored .030 over so its a 461! Type in 1983 Hurst/Olds Burnout to see it =) . but seriously the interior is in such good condition you just need to get it repainted and its worth Soo much!

  • Lovely!

Despite all the the issues, she is still a beautiful car and demands respect..

Still sad to see a 50k car going to waste

    8-)

  • i'm holding back the tears, and the urge to punch the idiot who is letting this car languish, hope it's getting fixed up. only 912 models were made for 1969, wonder how many are even left including this one. all i can say is W T F ? ! ? ! ? ! ?

  • @DJM442 Exactly right! The very first thought that came to my mind when I saw the condition of the paint on that car was: WTF?!

  • @DJM442 I couldn't agree more. Aside from the monetary value, that car and the brand are a part of automotive history and must be preserved as such.

  • @DJM442 exactly, what fricken idiot lets a car like that sit and rot?

  • @DJM442 906 were made

  • @dewey191994 you sure? Google 1969 Hurst Oldsmobile production numbers and hit up Olds FAQ via 442.com. This is the information I read, and this site is pretty reliable "...914 - (or 906 + 6 = 912) Cutlass Holiday 2-Door Hardtops and 2 Cutlass Convertibles were built."

  • @DJM442

    It's pretty straight though.

  • @Samsgarden It's a clean car for the condition it was in. Glad someone bought it and will hopefully restore this car to its former glory!

  • Saw your comment from 9 months ago

    DAMMIT!!!

  • My God!!!! it needs a lotta work gonna be way to expensive to fix but your in luck, you can sell it to me.

  • Can i have the radio cause the car i have is perfect but just needs the raido

  • What kind of asshole lets a car like this turn to shit?!

  • Thats the first thing i thought when i saw this.

...what a find for whomever bought it.

  • yea....as if theres not worse

  • YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!

  • @IndyFan53

....probably people in the day who didn't realize it would later be rare and valuable?

  • dang it brings a tear to my eye to an H/O in this condition...

hopefully you sold it to someone who will make her cherry again...

the car and the VIN are there tho...lol

    none the less its nice...

  • a very great car, all original, and still running after 30+ years. i would like to see a kia live that long...

  • I tried to buy one of these from behind a guy's house for many years, 10+ he just kept saying he was going to work on it over and over again....I even put a tarp on it that I bought because he just let it sit in the elements - snows here....he still would not sell....when it finally was rusted through and he decided that he was not going to work on it because it was too much work...he just let a scrap guy buy it....ridiculous...

  • I cant stand hearing stories like that. Either restore it or sell it to someone who will! Don't just let em rot!

  • what a beast of a car.

  • sold for $22,000.00

Never use paypal they take your money and ask questions later

  • @joye35 paypal is a scam to the max. They stole all sorts of money from me. They are a scam.

  • how much did you pay?

  • listen at that mufu lope.

  • Only 906 of those made.

  • Hard to come by one of these anymore. About 10 years ago I used to drive by an a run down warehouse. Parked along the side were a few beat up mid seventies early eighties cars that seen better days, and a 69 hurst olds in the same shape as this one. She was their for about 7 years. she vanished about 2 years ago along with the others. Hopefully not to the scrappers. Watching barrett jackson last year I saw a beautifully restored one snatch almost 90k. Hows your 442 doin?

  • Its surviving. I drove it back and forth to work for the last week or so. It had been sitting for about a year and a half.

  • A diamond in the rough... Very rough! This is an awesome car in any shape. I'll take it!!

  • truly a diamond in the rough

  • all most brot a tear to my eiy

  • do you still have this car? my dad has a mint one im looking for one of my own.

  • That is sad
