Back in 1969 my older sister sold me a bunch of records for $10.00, Bobby Vintin's greatest hits was one of them, it was a very good investment, i learned a lot of his songs. And i still love them!!
If you enjoyed this song, come visit my veetle page (Current & Classic Radio Shows) under the Music tab. Every week my 60’s top 40 show does a week in the 60’s and the week of May 23rd has a countdown with this song!
"Tell Me Why" was a fall, 1951, hit for the Four Aces and reached #2 on the charts -- beautiful vocal by Bobby Vinton...he sings all the originals better than the originals did (witness Bobby's "Blue Velvet," an early Tony Bennett hit)...
I agree with the young ones on here making comments. Back in the 50's and 60's we had good music. The rock, rap and hip hop of today is so cruel, crude and immoral. Too bad "our" music can't come back and replace it.
Yes I have to say the same as werewolf435 I am 17 and this music is awsome todays music has to be the worst ever made thanks to the stupid rap and hiphop and wanna be rapstar people this is the real stuff I am so glad that there are people still out there that listen to this stuff like me I have all the records of bobby vinton, patsy cline, and lots more of the wonderful era. of the 1950s and 1560s

We were so lucky to grow up with this music, I am sure someone out there must have memories of their boy or girlfriend and how we all fell in love back then, slow dancing and romance is missing today, if kids do not make any memories what will they be thinking about 20 years from now? Would not trade my youth for today, thanks for this great song, Vinton such a performer!
I agree with you bandstand16. Me too. The only memories kids are making today is who beat who on the TV screen playing video games. What the hell would kids do if All computers and all but a radio was available playing only orchestra big band era music and games shows and Long Ranger type shows
As a child today, I beg to differ, I spend more time out helping people, trying to get myself to where I want to go in life, and although I do indeed play computer games, I don't play them often
@helloin444----Please... Please don't play games with people.. You stated as a child today, your profile indicates that you'd be 31 or 32 today if the profile is truth and not a lie. NOW THEN, if you were a child and doing what your wrote, then you'd be the exception and I would say congratulations and keep it up!!!
Great singer, great song!!!!!!!

I read that Vinton nearly bought the NFL Colts for 17 million. They're worth a little more now.
