  • Rome total war....Great game

  • NARNIA

  • What's the name of the track that starts at 1:24?

  • ☧ from the 2 first letters of Christ in Greek ΧΡ-ιστός.

  • Is the red side supposed to be Constantine, and the green Maxentius? Then why are both carrying the Chi Rho? Only Constantine used that, and for the first time at this battle, hence the famous "under this sign, conquer".

  • @SpectatorAlius ΕΝ ΤΟΥΤΩ ΝΙΚΑ in Greek and hoc signo victor eris in latin ;)

  • @alexthehistorian Isn't it : In hoc signo vinces?

  • @esl190 You're right but in some coins we find hoc signo victor eris too, thatnks for the correction.

  • @SpectatorAlius he is making do with the vanilla version of the game. the men in green represent roman rebels which is basically the closest thing you can get

  • @SpectatorAlius LOL! I was wondering the same thing.

  • Constantine the Great (Latin: Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus Augustus; c. 27 February 272 – 22 May 337), also known as Constantine I or Saint Constantine, was Roman Emperor from 306 to 337. Well known for being the first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity, Constantine and co-Emperor Licinius issued the Edict of Milan in 313, which proclaimed religious tolerance of all religions throughout the empire.

  • The foremost general of his time, Constantine defeated the emperors Maxentius and Licinius during civil wars. He also fought successfully against the Franks, Alamanni, Visigoths, and Sarmatians during his reign – even resettling parts of Dacia which had been abandoned during the previous century.

  • Constantine built a new imperial residence in place of Byzantium, naming it Constantinople, which would later be the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire for over one thousand years. He is thought of as the founder of the Eastern Roman Empire.

  • what are the units at 0:58 called

  • whats the music?

  • Constantine the Great ---> I L L Y R I A N

Proud to be ALBANIAN - DESCENDANT OF ILLYRIANS !!!

  • @IllyriPower youd love it if it was true, wouldnt you?constantine was roman not illyrian.(well, and half greek by his mother but he was born in rome)

  • @spyrosw9

Actually Constatine was born in what is today Southern Serbia but you are right, his father was Roman and his mother was a Greek from Bithynia (Asian minor, near Nicea). Sorry to disappoint you Illyriapower, but Constaine had nothing to do with neither Ilyria (he was born in ancient Moesia which was considered Dacian) nor Albania...

  • @bobo12345098 yes,i was thinking about rome and got confused the moment i wrote that.

  • wow like 2 fps for te entire duration of the vid...

  • Yo they are NOT preatorians but Comitatenses!!!

  • constanti was EASTERN EMPIRE HE WAS PURPLE NOT RED

  • muy guena

    :)

  • Is that the music from Naria?

  • Byzantium altogether is considered Greek by historians, though it is Roman.

  • @LaaaWnSuuuB the byzantine empire had the greek culture, language and the byzantines were christian not pagan like the romans.this is where christianism became part of the greek culture(i wish it wouldnt though

    o.o)

  • @spyrosw9 The byzantines were christian not pagan like the Roman?? the Byzantines were the Romans.

  • @3dwardcullen69 sorry i meant to say like the "other" romans.and the byzantines had the greek culture and language(at least the majority of them.some spoke latin, but even them spoke greek too.)so they tended to be greek(as most of the people that were under hellenic inflence).thats why most historians refer to byzantine empire as greece.

  • @spyrosw9 well those historians are not properly informed. Because the eastern Romans always referred to themselves as Roman, despite Greek predominating Latin in the later half the Empire. They viewed themselves as the sole continuation of the Roman Empire and they would laugh at anyone who would call them "byzantine". Thank goodness they did not survive the days when the term "Byzantine" was first coined to falsely describe them. Even still, I'm sure they are turning in their graves.

  • @3dwardcullen69

Why is there a differentiation between the Roman Empire and the Byzantine Empire through names? Because they were both culturally and linguistically different. Most education, philsophy, plays and scribe in the Roman empire was performed by Greeks and in sometimes in Greek. The Byzantine empire took up hellenistic culture and combined it with Roman and Eastern culture. The Modern Greeks have more similarities with Byzantium than ancient Greece, the name was merely hereditory..

  • @bobo12345098 While it is true that the Eastern Romans adopted the Greek language. To what extent they adopted a Hellenistic culture we don't know. On the contrary, it was the Greeks living within the Roman Empire that adopted Roman culture. The Eastern Romans were as you say different from the western Romans, in much the same way, 21 century America is different from 19th century America. You are completely wrong about the name "Byzantine". It was not hereditary. It first came about 18th century

  • @3dwardcullen69

I disagree, much of what was Roman culture was mimicked of Greek culture, the architecture, the Gods, the philsophies, the glories, everything Roman society was based on was inspired by Greeks. The name "Roman Empire" for the Byzantines was hereditary because after Justinian, Byzantium was predominatly Greek speaking and followed a Christian Orthodox culture with a micture of east, west and Greek (ancient Greek) influnces. Modern Greek culture is based on this mix...

  • I was born on the same day 1675 years later that the Battle of Milvian took place. I don't have a middle name, so I think that changing my middle name to Milvian because of my birth day is sufficient enough?... plus I'm a Christian. Any opinions on this?

  • @theone1087 You can do that but then again, there are so many fine Romans, rather than bridges, whose name you can use for a middle name... Give it a thought :))

  • if you played shogun 2 your computer would explode

  • @broncosfan02 lol

  • cuz he is using the SUPER large first cohort unit. which has alot of guys in it.

  • Comment removed

  • @ESfilming how

  • How did you get the size? It looks like that infantry is over 240 per unit.

  • @Israelpwn go to option and you can mike your unit size to larch

  • @overlord848

I've done that. The highest size normal groups will get you is...160 I believe. This video has more than the "Huge" option in R:TW.

  • @Israelpwn wow awesome tell me how you do it please

  • @overlord848

Lol, what? Umm...I went into Game Options I think, or Video Options and then there is a "unit size" thing. But this video has more than the maximum there.

  • Rome defeated Byzantium by handing it over to the Ottomans. The gate of Romanos was opened by the damn priests and the Ottomans invaded

  • Ottoman...

  • wow.. laggy.. its not very impressive.. sorry :/

  • @zesusdk that's because of the size of the battle

  • @zesusdk i know :) Its actually a bit sad that you cant run this game, and feel like "WOW" epic battle, without lagging -.- But ofc its not hes fold.

  • IMO Constantine is the one that screwed Rome. A couple more Julius Caeser's and we'd have a 100% roman world.

  • what side in constantine's christan army

  • The shadow from the Romans

  • lol the battle didnt went the way u claim at all...

  • @gamelord309 like you've been there, huh... your grammar isn't bareable at all!

  • @zragisha nah just watched some documentarys... anyways i dont care about grammar kid

  • @zragisha oh... what TV says of yourse must be true... sorry, bro! (watch the sarcasm)

  • @gamelord309 its: The battle didn't GO the way you SAID at all. Not the battle didnt went the way u claim at all... learn to spell.

  • @pwnzorme n0 L1F3

  • The byzantines were great, they invented many things (like the greek fire, some sort of old flae thrower), they saved many books that on the western world were lost, in fact that´s why after the middle age Europe rose up again: many teachers that scaped from Constantinople after it felt on turkish hands went to Europe!

  • @Strongholddg Yes you are right :)

  • its rome total war barbarian invansion

  • @hezbollah2000

It's an old game you can only get it online and no it's only for PC

  • @romansoldier100 oh k ..... THX ;)

  • @hezbollah2000 its only for the computer. You can get Rome and the expansion for about 10 bucks. It will run good on almost any computer

  • Constantine was a fooll and an idiot because he breaked the roman empire wtf!!!!

is that for an emperor the badest i think!!

  • @MrRatchet08

    "breaked"? Seriously? Great explanation.

  • @MrRatchet08 He didn't.Theodosius did.

  • @MrRatchet08 The empire was administered separately between Western and Eastern. When Constantine came to power he UNITED them, the Empire was then again split into Western and Eastern AFTER he DIED. So you should be THANKING him rather than BASHING him. Idiot.

  • lol cpu too slow to run the game

  • it lags like hell !

  • i want to see more Italy based games

  • @Pusscatification

    Like Garibaldi total war

  • going christian realy ruined the coolness of the romans

  • Rome still had the powerful armys it had allways lived up to but barbarians were knocking at her doors it was inebitable they are destroyed.

  • @darkforest0113 Yup, Germanic\Slavic from the Eastern front, Arabs in the Southern Front, The Celts\Vikings in the Northern front. The Rebellion on the Western Front. Rome completely collapse after Pompeii.

  • @darkforest0113 no it could have been saved if good Emperors like Constatine continued

  • To be exact, the city was named Constantinople until 1930 (NOT 1453!!!) when Ataturk changed the name into Istanbul

  • vizantium

  • no its the barbarian invasion rome total war

  • is that the alexander pack

  • Not "Constantinople"

    it's

    İstanbul Since 1453

  • Why not, my friend? You call Istanbul just since 1923. Please, read your own history. This name Istambul, come frome three greek words: Eis tim Poli. Its mean I go to City. What city? There is one single and upright answer. CONSTANTINOPOL!

  • @KharTuMBacK instanbul ις την πολη

  • @KharTuMBacK Shut up. It's true name is Constantinople. Istanbul can suck my cock.

  • @Alexandros1294 Dude.. the name was as of historical Constantinople. But.. The mordern city name is Istanbul. Im not Turk. BUT i know my geography :P

  • @zesusdk Turks stole the city and renamed it. You can call a cat a fish and it still will not swim. The true name is Constantinople.

  • @Alexandros1294 But before Constantin renamed it Constantinople, it was called Byzantium. :O

  • @Alexandros1294 Byzantanium, Constantinople, Instanbul

  • @Alexandros1294

    it was 500 years ago.

  • @KharTuMBacK Its

  • cool vid. Is that a video game you are using? whats the name yo.

  • @WurdOfMouf its called Rome Total War Barbarian Invasion

  • constantinuple is greek

  • @apoello WRONG constantinople was never greek it was roman byzantine then ottoman and finally turkish ottomans and turkish are different since the ottomans were before them

  • cool video. lots of lag though :( you should have made the text like black or something to make it easier to read.

  • the music is from The Chronicles of Narnia, the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

  • Europeans didnt want Constantinople like Turks wanted Austrian capital, the europeans just wanted to have the "holy land" under their rule because its the holy city of all christians where christ died

  • @CrazyKiso

    Istanbul AKA Constantinople.

The crusades were launched, after the Byzantium Empire called for the West's assistance against the Islamic threat in the East.

On the 4th Crusade, as the Europeans couldn't afford the Venetian's fleet, they sacked Constantinople.

Constantinople had a very fortified position, making it almost impossible to take.

So perhaps it was not simply because they wanted Jerusalem, but due to power and wealth.

Constantine founded Constantinople 1000 years before

  • A A The Crusaders paid for their transport to Holy lands 2 Venece by taking Zadar(City in my country Croatia) so it was under their reign and the islands around it. But Constantinople was powerful and with huge amount of money but still the path wasnt paid just by sacking the city.

  • the pope didn't condone the sack, but the west did play an important part in defense of the city in 1453

  • umm yeah Istanbul under the Ottomans would remained great until the Industrial age, the the Ottoman empire became irrelevant.

plus if your supporting the Ottoman EMPIRE then you are an imperialist, I like reading about the Roman EMPIRE so does that make me an imperialist, your mind is very addled.

plus this is a silly argument anyways yes at one time Istanbul/Constantinople was the city to envy, its a beautiful city today but its not the greatest that's just a matter of opinion.

  • Turks failed in WW1, and there empire finally crumbled. they had a good run, and im sure they can rebuild it withing so many years, but as for right now.. well they just suck honestly. USA!

  • and the force of the rest christian countries

  • If Greece and Turkey fought against each other (Presuming NATO didn't exist or something and no European Union) I think Turkey would win but after that it would face guerilla warfare in a difficult terrain.

  • i have an ancestor that was a spartan w00t

  • Ask the bulgarians what we did to them.

What have you done???.Your ancestors can only kill inoscents peoples. We have shown you our true power in the balkan war, dont we?So shut the fuck up when you dont know what your damn ancestors do!!!

  • 'Killing innocents' is part and parcel of pre-modern warfare. Everyone did it, not just the Turks.

  • @charger7082 Yes, So many years LOST! NOW OUR COUNTRY IS WEAK!! THANKS TO THE GOD DAMN TURKS!

  • Byzantium (Constantinople when capitol of the Roman Empire.) Was only conquered because the christians of Consantinople sided with the Turks to form the only profesianal soldiers (Janissarys.) Which led to Constantinople's demise.

  • ionia was greek... the rest was persian and before that syrian and other asian tribes... oh and you didnt do shit to the mongols the mongols did shit to you so stfu... plz...

  • berkbbx3, you know the turks didnt really pwn byzantium they just were the last in line to rape the lifeless body of a once great nation. good going!

  • actually we did, we owned u, in our shit times u couldnt do anything! u couldnt defeat 'the sick man of europe' and get istanbul back, haha, plus when we fucked u up we didnt have help, during our bad times u had all allied help and still didnt do shit u forthless dicks, ataturk owneddd u

  • Hmm, I distinctly remember reading that at the end of WWI the Ottomans disintegrated into civil war and lost whatever overseas territories they had left to Britain and France.

But in true nationalist fashion you try to spin it into some kind of victory.

  • İ know we lost, but ur forgetting after all that and in our worst times we beat u in the turkish war of independance, we still held the greatest city at the time, istanbul and protected main land anatolia, plus at the end britian and freance dont having anything left! İts victory for we have a democratic nation wıch ıs secular!

  • You didn't beat 'me'; I'm not Greek.

The Turks won their freedom simply because the British and French didn't care. Britain and France were in no mood for a war after WWI and already occupied the cream of the Ottoman provinces (the Middle East). Istanbul and Anatolia were on the periphery since the industrial revolution. Nor were all the nationalist movements in the Eastern Med worth getting into.

And if Britain and France have nothing left, why is Turkey trying to get into the EU?

  • didnt care, are u fucking retarded, do u realise the importances of turkey's positioning, r u blind? they went thier to colonise it,they fought it to gain terretory from the east! And wtf does that mean, if france and britian dont have shıt from the east left why ıs turkey tryıng to enter the e.u?wtf? ask most ppl ın turkey ıf we wanna joın, most wıll say NO

  • Oh please, developments such as colonialism and the industrial revolution had long since made Turkey's position less important. The only advantage that would have been gained was a military one, but it was not worth fighting a serious war over.

And people in Turkey only started to decisively turn against the idea of joining the EU after the Europeans rebuffed them. I'm sure you've checked the polls.

  • No, oil petrol, natural gas etc. has made us important still, it was even fetured in a james bond film! Europe need us now more than ever since this eastern crisis has accured wıth ısraıl and terrorism etc. we are the stronges in the region, we can screw any1 ın our suroundings, we are peaceful but if u try anythıng...well ask the greeks and cypriots wat happened in the 70's...we dont need e.u membership, we still have strong support but UNEEDUS, if ppl like u r gonna be a bitch about it...

  • Well yeah, Turkey is quite an economic power these days, but that's straying off topic by 80 years or so. The fact is that Turkey lost WWI and lost it badly. As usual you go off topic and try to spin the discussion into some sort of nationalist bluster-fest.

And last time I checked, Britain and France had much higher GDP figures than Turkey. So much for saying that they don't have anything left. By the way, this is off topic too.

  • We didnt loose it badly, if germany had victory we would of won, we beat the brits and anzacs in gallipolli! And ur the imperialist dipshit who dosnt know what he's saying, plus i never said turkey was the richest country, there rich, but no the richest, and fuck u, ur the nationalist, im a socialst so fuck off, how was i spining tpics??

  • Hmm, so you think the Ottomans could have taken on Britain, France and Russia alone? Don't joke. The European powers focused much more of their resources on the Western and Eastern fronts.

Nice fallacies btw. Apparently I'm an imperialist and a nationalist for correcting your nationalist boasting.

I never said anything about you claiming that Turkey was the richest country, I took issue with your claim that Britain and France had 'nothing left'. Obviously untrue.

  • but we could of done it with austria-hungary and germany at our most powerful tim, and u are a imperalist,it is people lıke u who caused our brothers to go agıanst us...britian, france, russıa etc. Plus im not boastıng nor am ı a natıonalıst, stıck that ıdea up ur ass, plus ı daıd framce and brıtıan have no lands ın the east left...so yhhhh

  • Except the Ottomans were long past their heyday, so it's totally irrelevant. The fact is they lost; there's no way of getting around it.

Yeah OK, I'm an imperalist in your small, childish world maybe. Don't throw around terms you don't understand.

You're not a nationalist? Well maybe I'd have believed you... but one look at your uploads totally exposes who you are.

  • And if you just meant that Britain and France had no lands left in the east, why didn't you just correct my misinterpretation? Clearly you're only interested in boasting about your country.

  • no, because u went ınto wealth, and ı dıd at the end correct ıt, so dont try

  • That's where I misinterpreted what you said. Instead of correcting it you rambled against what I said, so I assumed it was relevant.

  • umm... no, and stop tryıng to look smart by repeatıngly sayıng ramblıng..... ım reply u, should ı stop because ım rıght? Plus u went ınto wealth dırectly after ı saıd u lot had nothıng left.... sooo,yh, u cant really chat

  • Gee, if using 'ramble' remotely sounds smart I really pity your lack of intelligence.

Duh, I went directly into wealth because I assumed that you said they had nothing left in a primarily economic sense. If you were genuinely interested in discussion you would have corrected me there, but you didn't.

  • lol, stıll beggıng to be smart on the ınternet.....gayyy

ı clearly wrote they had nothıng left ın the east, nothıng to do wıth money...plus when u replyed back u never wrote about money, u just saıd better than turks even thought turkey ıs a larger country, so how could ı of coreected u then, ın the end ı dıd correct u so really dont try to look smart when u were wrong, read properly next tıme, shows ur lack of ıntellıgence....

  • OK you can continue to attack me personally if you want, it's only reflecting badly upon yourself. And keep up the strawmen too.

This is what you said: "plus at the end britian and freance dont having anything left!" - I assumed it was more general than what you meant so I brought up the EU. Instead of correcting my misinterpretation you proceeded to argue against it, so I had no reason to doubt my interpretation.

  • yes, but at the end we knocked out every1 and kept ıstanbul and anatolıa, at our worst tıme eswell, ıt was the ultımate revolutıon. An d u can go fuck ur self, u are a ımperalıst, ull see when ur not 8 anymore....

İm not a natıonalıst, ı hate natıonalıst, ıf u watch my vıdeos poperly, u wıll see.....

  • Because as I said, the European powers didn't care. Don't ignore things because they're inconvenient.

Life must be so simple for you, isn't it? Anyone who isn't with you is an imperialist/nationalist/whatever.

And I tried watching your videos... and stopped at your 'Fuck Greece' upload.

  • İ dıdnt, they dıd care, ı told u, ur sayıng no1 wanted to have ıstanbul, the greatest cıty ın the world at the tıme??

And ıt ıs because ı know what ım talkıng about, plus u are supportıng them so ur on thıer sıde.... theres no other sıde, ur not neutural...

Plus most of greece hate turks on the ınternet... ıts obv ıll go agıanst them, plus ım not the 5 yearold who watches pokemon.....OWNED

  • Istanbul stopped being the greatest city in the world ever since the industrial revolution and the decline of overland trade routes from Asia. In the early 20th century wealth came from industry and the colonies.

Where did I say anything supporting Greece? I was correcting your assertion that the Turks suffered something less than a major defeat, and then against your nationalism more broadly.

Nice ad hominem btw. Shows how little you have to say.

  • ıt was the greats cıty even after ww1, when the republıc of turkey had been made, ıt was forgotten.

    ı saıd EUROPEANS,ur goıng for them,plus ım not a natıonalıst u ımperalıst:D

and wtf ıs a homınem??ı owned u and ur stıll chattıng...ı dont understand u lot, defeated yet ur stıll goıng on

  • So what made Istanbul great in the early 20th century, then? All it had were relics of the past: its industries were rudimentary compared to the European powers, with the exception of Russia and maybe Austria-Hungry.

OK, if I can't get it into your head that I'm here to correct your claims rather than supporting 'Europeans' (as if they're a homogenous group to begin with) then I don't know what will.

Ad hominem = personal attack. It's a widely known term in debating circles.

  • its positıonıng... after peace no1 gıved a shıt, now, but back then ıt was cooollllll

u r supportıng european ımperalıst, ur on thıer sıde, thats why ım callıng u 1!!

  • So if it's just about positioning, you'd still call Istanbul 'great' it was knocked down and replaced with a fort, right? More nationalist nonsense.

At any rate its position was much less valuable than it had been. Modern forms of transportation, communication and weaponry had greatly reduced its value.

Shouting isn't going to convince anyone, btw.

  • no, plus the industrial revolutıon was new, againn, ur tellıng me no europeans would want to have ıstanbul, more ımperalıst bullshıt comıng from u...

    lol, am ı shoutıng??retard......

  • OK, so now you're saying that Istanbul was the greatest city because the Europeans wanted it? Yeah, I'm sure all those colonial territories were 'great' too.

Keep up the abuse. You claim that I'm five, yet you keep making these childish remarks. Funny how they've been increasing as your posts have become shorter and more incoherent.

  • no, ı said that ur stupıd for sayıng no1 cared for ıstanbul that europeans dıd want ıt but we owned them and they fucked off... u are 5 for watchıng pokemon...yhhh

  • Hmm, pretty ironic how you say that but you resort to childish personal attacks and crude one-liners.

  • BTW where did I say anything regarding whether the Europeans actually wanted the city or not? All I am saying is that that is not a measure for greatness. More concrete things like industry, the economy, technology etc. are, and Istanbul and the Ottoman Empire in general were severely lacking in these kinds of departments when compared to Europe.

  • hahaah no1 fucking wanted istanbul its logistically imposibble for the major european countries to even get to it and it would be too much hassle economically anyways :D

  • The industrial revolution had been going on for some 60-120 years before WWI (depending on how you define it), so it wasn't even that new.

So where were the Ottomans/Istanbul in 1914? Its industries, transport and communication were underdeveloped, it owed massive debts to overseas banks, its position as a trade conduit was redundant, and many people were still living as serfs.

The only thing left was its history. Apparently point these things out makes me an imperialist.

  • but was it at ıts hıght? nooo, it was bakcrupt but other than that it had the latest technology since it was the capital of the ottoman empire, and yes u supporting the euopeans does make u on thier side thus making u an ımperalıst

  • Don't think I won't spot your backtracking. You said Istanbul's positioning was what made it the great city in the world at the time but now you claim it was its 'latest technology'.

Do you really think Ottoman industrial output rivalled that of the European powers? Shouldn't the fact that they bankrupted themselves trying mean something obvious?

  • @TWKang wait, but at the time wasn't it called constinople, and all trade routes were controlled by it?

  • It would have been called Constantinople at the time, but by the 19th century its trade routes had been made redundant by a number of reasons.

  • @TWKang oh.

  • @TWKang Don't listen to Turks. They are so stupid that they don't even know what they're talking about.

  • lol. theres a bit of lag in this vid not suprised though

  • meaning, they used Jesus Christ to gain glory for themselves, with God being the accessory, and government's glory being the main purpose. So society remained very unjust, with most people poor, but emperors lived sumptuous lives and the few rich people fought each other for power.

And from then till 1776, that was the situation of every European monarchy, though they flew cross flags, and had official national churches. Of course, such churches were heavy on gold, and abysmal on morality.

  • Just a note: don't have this idealistic impression about Constantine, because he could have legalized Christianity as a way to earn people's favor, rather than as a true believer.

He also lived sumptuous palace life, and spent odious amount of money in organizing majestic ceremonies, rather than looking after the common people. The serfs and slaves weren't freed, even with Christianity legalized. And after Constantine, the Roman Empire essentially used Jesus Christ as their new Jupiter

  • 1453+ottoman empire=OWNED

  • And what does that have to do with this video?

Silly nationalist troll, go take your hate elsewhere.

  • um, its obvious= BYZANTINIUM..........

im not a nationalist, social democrat....

just crushing the gayreek nationalists, if u like turkey, no prblemo, if u dont, ur a gayreek prick who must be hushed

  • Byzantium as in the city. Although politically linked, the Roman world of the 4th century CE was very different from the Byzantine world in the 15th century.

And you sure sound like a nationalist to me, lol.

  • dude, same thing its part of the empire, and im not a nationalist....u gayreeks jsut dont understand that we arnt facist nazi's who suck hitlers dick

  • I'm not Greek, lol. The fact that you're so quick to label me a Greek proves that you're being a nationalist. Expletives don't help either.

And saying that Rome = Byzantium really shows how ill-informed and guided by nationalism you are. Byzantium is a successor state. There are some continuities but many thing have changed significantly over time.

At any rate, you are going to find more enthusiasts for Roman history here, so you're not really going to reach your target audience, are you?

  • no retard, it indicates stereotypicalness retard, its not nationalist, ur shit foughts dont help either

dude, who gives a fucking shit, same thing, when we conquered istanbul our sulatan was also the 'holy roman emperor', and u can call them that, so fuck off....

also fuck off, i dont give a shit about the romans, we fucking ended, hahaha, what happened happened, u cant change shit u back tracker, shows how much shit ur filled with

  • Aww, I made troll boy angry?

Look, you obviously came in here with no idea of the history of Rome or Byzantium. Maybe you're right; perhaps you're just REALLY ignorant rather than being consciously nationalistic, I don't know. It would be easier to decide if you hadn't said things like 'gaygreek' and 'u like turkey, no prblemo'.

Anyway, I've made my point, and I doubt you'll listen. Good day to you.

  • angry?wow, ur really filled with shit....ur retarded, its normal for u too saying gayshit things.

and u dont get it, my 1st comment said that we ended the empire in 1453, so i had a clear fucking idea on what i was talking about.dont try to look smart on the interent, thats just gay

anyway i also have made my point and i also doubt ull understand i didnt want to get into details....so fuck off
