As much as I love Justin I wouldn't pay or waste my 2 hours on this movie. The plot looks good it's not that it just looks sooooo low budget I can't stand it. Norman is so sexy though along with Justin but nope can do.

Red Canyon is about a brother and sister who return to their mother's home town years after a brutal attack. Returning to the desert is NOT a good idea! Old faces and old memories are waiting in the small desert town where nothing is what it seems. This movie twists and turns and surprises. It's one of the best horror films I've seen in years.

I saw this in a film festival about a year ago - and I have to say - this is one of the few movies that has really stuck with me. It started a little slow... but by the end. Wow. The friend I saw it with was shell shocked for a couple of days afterward. This is a such a scary story because it really can happen. The director spoke at the screening and said he was really influenced by Asian horror. I'm a huge Asian horror freak myself - and this film is as good as any I've seen.

I looked this up on IMDB - love the area where it was filmed - near Zion and Bryce National Park. The desert out there is amazing. It's like God had a crazy day on Playdo...and it's true - it feels like there's something mysterious going on out there - like it could be dangerous - all that space is oppressive in a way - people count for very little. I don't know how they pulled it off, but cool place to film a movie.
