Taiwan is not a nation, its is a part of China, The common misunderstanding is that Taiwan is part of People's Republic of China, but that is not the case, it is just simply part of China, as the leading party of Taiwan now was once the ruling party of the whole China and with the nation named Republic of China. In conclusion, regardless of who is thr ruling party, Taiwan is PART of China.
