I think the African can reach the 200km/hr. I drove one and at 140Km/hr my balls were vribrating as hell, I didn´t wanted to go any faster than 160.

A friend of mine put a sproket with an aditional tooth. The bike consumes less gas on log trips since the rev have come down, so did the vibration. It has lees torque than before but the engine has plenty of it

with mine when the trip master gives a 180km/h reading, the tacho is at 195 , and this is the top speed flat out ( have a 07 model with leovince exhaust)

In a Rd04 model i reach almost 190km/h, i don't now if this model have a big error.

I was doing once a good 180 km/h... my 1991 model's AT was not shaking. I rely on that bike, a very good one as you all know. But thinking about breaking down or getting a flat tire makes me not that reckless....keep riding that bike you lads, it is definitly the best one. Watch yourselves and see ya on the roads!

My RD07 93 is doing exactly the same speed at the same boring acceleration; think thats world wide standard at 58PS version ;-)

The tires of your motorcycle are not tubeless, but tube type...like the bicicles...it means that somethin' like a nail, a piece of glass and generally everythin' which has a sting shape could flat your tire....

your bike is tube type tires equipped...did ya know it? Think about the evenience of getting a flat tire at this speed...someone should pick you up from the gravel with a Tea spoon...

Mine reaches 200 km/h with no shaking and no mod. It's an rd07a from 98.

195Km/h unmodified or...air filter KN + dynojet + arrow Paris Dakar ...Like mine !! 220 Km/h.

Ive also got an africa twin but from 170km/h onwards it starts shaking too much. Your bike looks from a different year than mine, which is it? Which roads are those because it looks like Spains, were I ride? Enjoy your bike and be safe!
