  • I have one question, have you ever been injured, if yes, how badly?

  • I never had any injuries worse than a muscle strain.

  • nice lifts, dude

  • Thanks.

  • np, you've come a long way and stuck with it. big props to you.

  • Good job Max... If you didn't see my comment on FB I was saying thanks... I started deadlifting in a closer stance and increased my number by 40lbs... Once I really get used to it I'm sure that too will improve.

  • Thanks. Congrats on your improvement.

Yeah, the close stance helps the conventional deadlift, unless you're like a 275, 308, or SHW who has a massive frame and needs to have his feet wider.

  • Not sure where your reply to mo comment went, but those are some good numbers for having a strained back. Strange how it only affected the bench. Your lifts are going up which is good to see/ watch.

  • Thanks. Yeah, I think it was because of the arch when I bench. It's better now though.

  • Very well done...looked like you had some left on the DL!

  • Thanks, Matt. Yeah, the 530 looked and felt like it wasn't a problem, but the 545 was too much for me after that.

After the bodybuilding contest, when is your next PL meet and what fed will it be?

  • Gotcha. My guess is that it would have been a close one.

Not sure of my plans for the next meet. I'd like to get in a 8-12 week training cycle before competing again.

  • Good Job MAX, !!!

  • Thanks.

  • Good job, congrats. 1130 is a kick ass total, especially got 165lbs.

What happened to your bench thought? You've done more than 205 before, why isn't t progressing as much as your squat and dead?

    Cheers!

  • Thanks. I think the problem was that I strained my lower back seven weeks before this meet, when I was doing strongman training with atlas stones, trying to load a stone on a high platform. The weird thing is that it seemed to affect my bench press, due to the arch, but not the deadlift.

  • Your making your way up to the big dogs @ 165. Strong lifts. Great job!

  • Thanks. That means a lot, coming from you. :-)

  • well done!

  • Thanks.

  • S.F.W! Max, great stuff!

  • Thanks, Tony. SFW at your next meet!! :-D

  • Good lifts! Please rate my new chemtrail video

  • Thanks.
