@mrcash193 When this came out, West Coast gang banging wasn't even that big of a deal because there were no Crack Heads to sell dope too, at least not in the numbers that would be in the late 80's. Most people that you grew up with that were in gangs you could still be cool with in high school. The shit has just gotten too ridiculous over the last 20 years.

Ah, brings back happy memories. As a teenager, I thought this was the coolest, most futuristic thing, LOL. I think I had this on one of Morgan Khan's Streetsounds compilations. N.Y. vs. L.A. Beats -- I think. I'm older now, and exact memory eludes me...oh yeah, of course, all those references to West Coast acts, Unknown DJ, Egyptian Lover, all favourites of mine.
