No it wouldn't, this is a rolling start & a Saxo 1.6 16v VTS won't be able to thrash an Ibiza PD @ 200 for shit, not unless the VTS engines been aspirated with a turbo. Its all down to its huge torque power advantage. This 200 PD Ibiza is probably running about 400-420Nms of torque compared with the 1.6 Saxo which is 145hp but is non-aspirated & probably only running 150-170Nms. The Saxo is definately giving it all its got but its high race revs are just no match for the Ibizas pulling power.

The last time I ever saw diesel smog like that was from this little chavs chip tuned 306 Swirl chambers TD. Its not a bad car or a bad engine like people are saying it is... its only over-fuelling against the air mixture in combustion. I rather suspect that it was originally a non-PD 90/110Bhp TDi that has been maxed out to 200Bhp. If you mapped or chipped a proper PD like a 130/150Bhp TDi it won't happen. I have a PD 150 TDi remapped to 200Bhp & PD injection diesels do not smoke like that!
Hmmz... why you did get a bad comment rate is a mystery to me... maby for the "bad car"comment.. Anyway, this Ibiza probably has been tuned at or even over it's limit as far as the turbo goes. Normally with the right software and a bigger turbo like a VC or even a Finnish 1856 should get you safely around or above the 200HP. That setup should get rid of most of the smoking like in this video ;-)
Yeah, There is a limit to how much power you can add to a %100 standard TDi. Too much fuel going in, it just drowns out the injectors. The poor old engine only burns what it can manage so the rest exits as black smoke = this Ibiza is a typical example. A bigger turbo might do it but... It will cause more lag though. Ideally you need a smaller Turbo with a higher PSI rather than bigger one. Diesel Smoke is fun to annoy people with but it will soon clog up your EGR & fuck up the Catalyst! :-(
The black smoke is great! Thats what makes me want a Diesel all the more. Its a brilliant defence weapon for blinding & smoking out idiots unduly tailgating behind you. What use is the horn? It just signals to the driver ahead that you are annoyed with them. Blasting your horn at a Diesel smoking driver will just make them laugh loud as they know that they have annoyed you. My sisters little unserviced Seat Ibiza TDi 90 is the funniest. I was driving it about 1 month ago, had this little twat in a Peugeot 206 with 18"s listening to D&B - windows wide open. He was hovering around my bum like he was intending to overtake. @billasohyeah Yeah I know that, the 8V PD comes available after 115Bhp, and they didn't make a 1.9 PD 100 until much later on. Anything under 115Bhp is an 8V VE/VP injection anything over that is an 8V/16V PD injection.

Agree, and also can be a sollution a turbocharger and an intercooler with a bigger capacity, i mean that engine needs more air with about 15-20%

yh it sure does. i have a mk3 cupra and when bought it had a bad map and my ecu went bang and the car went into limp mode and wouldnt rev over 3000rpm til i changed ecu, i was pissed!
