Useless comedy that shared the 'typical' ITV problem of excessively bright studio lighting-have you noticed that all ITV sitcoms used to have that same flourescant wash? Not only were BBC comedies generally much funnier-they had better studio production too.
Oh, and ITV normally simply poached anyone who had made a name for themselves, usually on BBC.
Look for Richard O'Sullivan on Wikipedia, there's a link to a Daily Mail article from a couple of days ago which features pictures of what he looks like now. He's a bald old man with a walking stick who lives in a retirement home! I'm left wondering where the hell the years have gone. I remember this show like it wasn't that long ago.
Thanks for posting this. I'm a big fan of Richard O'Sullivan, in both Man About The House and Robin's Nest, so it's good to finally be able to see some of the other work he has done for TV.
As the titles are over a minute long I thought it best to cut them out - but have uploaded them especially - check out the video responses or my channel homepage. :-)

Great to see these again! Do you have any episodes with the opening titles intact?

I see your point. Thanks for uploading that! Do you know if the opening credits changed in later series?
Thanks

As far as I know they didn't change, but then I've only seen the first two series and it lasted for six.
