bashed. plus your theory is totally wrong.

So I got a brand new theory(damn right I am fast!):

Her husbands name was "David", shortform: Dave.

As we see in "Dave" Libby is in mental hospital at the time Hugo takes the foto with his "imaginary friend": WRONG!

Dave is no imagination; he is just DEAD.

Now we know Hugo sees dead people so that makes sense; but because Hugo can't see his dead grandpa(he died off the island)Dave MUST have died ON the island!

I just want to say: There are so many things in the show, that weren't explained but still you can figure them out by "thinking" (4 example why is dave on the island? MIB only can take forms of dead people ONLY with the help of their bodies.)

So why did the writers make Libby say that her husband died? It's obvious that it happened shortly before she said it, else she wouldn't wanna "get rid" of the boat (desmond is advantageous for her)

Michael is really sorry for killing Libby. After all killing her was an accident!

Killing Ana-Lucia was the first INCIDENT(!), which happened, because Michael used the computer to communicate (it was forbidden) with Walt(?).

I was happy seeing the two back together, but it still doesn't explain, why Libby seems to have memories of the flash-sideways in season 2! (Episode "Dave")

I think that Locke knows that Desmonds not dead so gets like, Sayid to go shoot him, but I dont think he will be able to go through with it, so he lies to Locke then afterwards tells Jack he is down there and that Locke wants him dead so he must be important, then Sayid will tell Jack that he is the one, then we will all love Sayid again, and then the worst thing that has ever happened will happen. Even worse than Charlie and Juliet! Which will be awful.

when locke got hit by the car in the sideways flash im pretty sure that he started to remember the real timeline because it seems as if when you experience a life threatening situation you remember the original timeline (just like when desmond remembered under water while trying to save charlie and also when charlie almost died by choking on the bag of heroine)

i think that desmond is making every one who was on the plane see what they love exept i dont think thats what happened cause evil locke has small pupils and yellow eyes and when locke got ran over his pupils went small as if the evil smoke monster was in him.with desmond i dont think he is dead the well doesnt look deep anough so i think john just trapped him down there.i really like that libby is back and that mical made his peace. i know i spelt micel wrong big whoop you wana fight about it=)

Great recap!! I agree Desmond was trying to give Locke a near death experaince but it's a bit of a stretch. He's really just going to hit him with a car because his name was on the flight list??? He didn't have to hurt Hugo to help direct him ? Desmonds episode last week was one of my favorites. I love the story of Penny and Desmond. Great review, I am still of the theory that everyone person in the "flash-sideways" world is perfectly happy with life, but they all realize something is missing, Love. Love is the only thing that breaks the time barrier in LOST. "It is better to have Loved and Lost, then to never Love at all." All these people that we have seen in the "flash-sideways" have break throughs when then love is revealed.

@bonenosejones that's a great theory! I think that the idea of "Love & Lost" is a valid point. It would explain why Bernard and Rose are no longer a focal point b/c their relationship was already strong before the plane crash. But the relationships with everyone else (Jack/Kate/Sawyer, Michael/Walt, Hugo/Libby, Desmond/Penny, Sun/Jin etc.) had some sort of complications.

@Damon242 Totally agree with you. I think Locke with experience some sideways visions, and he'll have spinal surgery performed on him by Jack, causing him to regain the use of his legs. At first seeing Desmond run into Locke was so shocking, but thinking about it kind of makes sense.

The LA scenes last night were mostly a love story between Hugo and Libby just like the Jin/Sun Centric of a couple of weeks ago. The reason Fake Locke pushed Desmond in the well is because he is a candidate. In order for Fake Locke to leave the island he will need to kill all the candidates. Last night proved that he doesn't need all the candidates to be on the plane in order for him to leave the island. Where the LA scenes shows life blooming the island only shows death.

We know that Sawyer is candidate because his name was on the cave wall but Sawyer too saw Jacob as a young boy. We know that Fake Locke can not directly kill the candidates but he can send others i.e Claire,Sayid, Ben Linus to kill the candidates. Ben killed Locke who was a candidate so only five candidates are left who are still alive but Claire and Sayid are still mindless drones working for Fake Locke..

Desmond has been through the electromagnetic explosion from the swan hatch, has had his mind time travel and isn't affected by the electromagnetism, so what would happen if he turned the wheel down in the well? Makes you wonder if that's where thats going.

Also have to wonder why Desmond ran down Locke in alt time, was it to give him his glimpse of the other world or was there more to it? And will that cause the character to regain feeling in his legs? Stranger things have happened on Lost.:)
