Me too. All my father's family are chinese Khmer and my mother side are Khmer. However, I consider myself Khmer. But I always celebrate both. My uncle told me that as jow chen, you always" kan jeung took". I love both cultures and proud of them.
i aint know about now, but b4 17 apr 1975, the relationship between the khmers & the cambodian chinese were sentimental & profound. the chinese men married the khmer women, the khmer men married the chinese women. consequnce: most cambodians have some chinese blood in them.
plus, the mixed-raced khmer+chinese cambodians are intelligent & patriotic.
KHMER AND LAO don't like viet, I'm sure. Vietnam is a bad neighbore, even Thailand is also not a good neihbor either. These 2 neighbors are keep stealing khmer and lao territories. After all present time Thailand were used to be Khmer empire and the whole South Vietnam were belong to Cambodia. Shame on these 2 bully neighbors.
