Thrift Find - Repairing 2 APC Smart UPS 700 Units (1)

I'm seeking help for my failed UPS APC RS800. It switched to battery supply with alarm even when the 220V mains were connected. Two batteries (12V 7Ah each) are at 13.4V and seem not dead. I opened the case and didn't notice any obvious burns or leaking capacitors. How would you start diagnose this? What are the common failed parts? @wwallender Yeah sorry, I never got around to doing another video, I have one running with the server and the other is still awaiting a battery. These are on the list of fall projects.
