  • imho, the timing of the external combinations was not quite there....hips/shoulders, knees/elbows and feet/hands....feet/hands arrive at the same time..hips urge shoulders, knees urge hands...yin root of yang, yang expression of yin, this is the secret to good xing yi...of course this applies first internally, then externally you will see intent and power. without intent xing yi is only movements...with intent all movement is rooted and powerful in any shape.

  • it look different from the hsing-i i know, what style is it? or is your sifu just doing it weird for the camera?

  • feels like shaolin more than xingyi, but that's just mho.

  • Although I would also like to say that he is very fluid, relaxed, and has good power (although I agree that we would like to see more).

  • the dragon kick is "meh." Looks like he's just flicking it up...dragon kick is supposed to spiral up then downwards like a stomp sort of. Otherwise if you just sort of "raise" it up, it gets rid of all of its power.

  • correct form, but no power. I'd like to see this with some giving it they're all.
