He only called out to the hecklers with that word because he wanted to piss them off the quickest way he could. It was a reaction. It's like if a special needs guy were to piss you off, and you just crack on him with a loud "RETARD!" Michael just snapped back at the hecklers with the quickest most effective thing he could think of on the spot. It was a reaction. He's not racist.

This video simply explains his "racist" comments. He is very dedicated. He immerses himself in his act. When he gets interrupted rudely by some asshole he gets angry. Getting angry doesn't justify racist comments but it's such a shame that some people think he's some racist bigot whereas he is just too good at what he does and makes mistakes that are only human. HOWEVER, she's adorable and I loved her work in Seinfeld.

Michael Richards is obviously a professional. Regarding his supposedly "Racist" tirade, it wasn't his fault, he was provoked, he is obviously immensely talented and the jerks in that show crossed the line.

I don't hold it against him that he insulted those people. He's still a great actor and a class act.

Well, he was kind of grouchy in the earlier seasons, but I noticed that in the bloopers of season 6 and after, he's a lot more good natured about screw-ups.

he was so good because he is such an emotional person. I am the same way, so I understand y he is acting like that. whenevr he gets an emotion or feeling it takes over in an excessive way. If he was not acting this way..he would never have been the wildly energetic Kramer that we know and love. plus, his little incident at the nightclub really shows this. @Adventurestud You have to understand that a lot of Kramer's comedy was physical. It's very difficult to recreate facial and body expressions, along with your lines, over and over again. This is why he got a tad frustrated when he was forced to redo scenes.
