I found your video after reading the pattern instructions. The pattern made this sound a WHOLE lot complicated and it really isn't! You video was clear and concise. Exactly what I needed and since I'm doing the edging on a large jacket, I'm glad I know now!! Thank you again!
I have to do an i-cord bind-off on a circular needle and am not sure how. My pattern has me knitting in the round for 18 inches and the i-cord will finish the top. It's for a felted purse. Should I turn it around and go backwards? Also, how do I attach an i-cord around the base of the purse?
You are a great knitting teacher!! I am making the Shore Hat in the Weekend Hats book.The hat is finished with attached Icord and wire!! Thanks I needed your help :)
Thank you for the clear and easy to follow tutorial. I also appreciate that you showed how to end it as not many videos here on youtube showing this technique actually show you what to do at the end of the row.
Very well done and Thank You for taking the time to do these tutorials. I have found them to be very helpful, even though I have been knitting for years, I have never seen this technique before. I will definitely try this.
Oh my gosh...you are wonderful!!! You make everything look so simple and I'm grateful that you take time to post these videos!! I love knitting and being able to watch you really helps out! And, it seems like anything I'm having a time with all I have to do is look through your videos and I'm sure to find help! Again, Thanks so much for taking your time to make and post videos!!! Aileen :D

In this video she uses two colors of yarn so it is easy to see what the actual bind off will look like.
Very clear instructions.

Thanks.....If you want to add an i-cord to the edge of a hat, how would you extend each side so one could tie it?
JanREBEL 1 year ago
@JanREBEL
do you mean all around the hat?
knittingtipsbyjudy 1 year ago
@knittingtipsbyjudy Neither around the hat or just on both sides so that it can be tied under the chin. Thanks.
