  • i hate you all, you all only read his work to seem interesting, but you'll never get it.

  • I knew Hank for a long time, beginning in the mid 60's at the Los Angeles Terminal Annex Post Office. I heard him read very often, and I always marvelled at his ability to perform his poems while seriously drunk. You got his rhythm very nicely. I was not familiar with this poem, I still find new ones to me as I go through his collections. I don't know anything about you, but you did good. He would have liked you.

  • Pardon my mistake; I was reading off of a transcripted poem as I don't own the book it was published in. And yes, I pronounced a word wrong and I know that; I don't have editing software and decided to just leave the word in. But thanks for asserting your supposed-superiority before leaving me a comment.

  • Nice reading...as relevant now as ever.

  • this is by FAR one of my favorite bukowski. the goofy drunk he was, he was still genuis amongst his words.

  • Dammit, Ang. I totally recorded myself doing this, I go to upload the video, and look! You did it first. Ah, well. Hope you're doing well.

  • You should upload it anyways. :)

  • another nice job angabel!!

  • You know, I quite enjoyed that, kind of a "life is all" kind of poem, thank you for sharing!

    Take Care, Giles.

  • Now that's a poem that takes no prisoners. Thanks, Angabel.
