Roshan khan was the finest stroke player in the history of squash. Had it not been for the family code of letting elders win, he would have won several British Opens himself. Instead he had to hand them over to elder cousins like Hashim, Azam, etc. By Jahangir's time, such nonsense had been done away with, fortunately for Pakistan squash.

Undoubtably the greatest squash player of all time and probably the greatest ever sportsman. Jahangir was unbeaten for over 51/2 yrs playing on the squash grand prix circuit. During that time the vast majority of games were won 3-0 or 3-1. Oh, there's also a small matter of 10 consecutive British Opens to his name. The word 'unbelievable' is used far too often these days - but this guy really was the business.

I had the honor and pleasure to meet Jehangir a few times, train with his trainer, play with his brother and his nephew and spend time with his father. What a humble person and a humble family. He remains the best sportsman ever as far as I am concerned

Jahangir Khan was not just the most accomplished squash player, he was a very nice person as well. I met him back in the early 80s and he was so down to earth. I mean here is the greatest squash player of all times and he had no airs about him.

That's correct jugnoo21. No other athlete in any sport, not just squash has ever won over 550 matches in a row and neither has any athlete ever went on unbeaten for over 5 and a half years. It's quite overwhelming what Jahangir has achieved.

Guys it's actually quite simple. I cannot understand what all this fuss is about. Jahangir Khan simply is the best squash player of all time and will be forever, if not for at least the next few decades because I certainly don't think anyone is going to beat his record of remaining unbeaten for 5 years, 7 months and 1 day & winning 550 matches consecutively, anytime soon. He was just born for it, he had the genes for the game! Being a Pakistani myself, he makes me feel pround about my country.
