Just as a simple and newbie question, but... How can I start sketching on OpenCanvas like that? I've tried many things but I just can't get it.

hello, I used a WACOM digital tablet, the "Intuos3" type. :) It simulates "pen-to-paper" perfectly. :)

Oh, I do have a tablet too... I have skill for drawing, but just can't understand how to begin with OpenCanvas.

tnx glad you liked it! i actually don't practice that often, but i made it brown so i can easily sea my foreground (the girl in the santa suit) better and decide on the colors easier. :)

i use Intuos3 by Wacom. The stylus and tablet has awesome pen/paper simulation, so it's easier to make the lines smooth. :)

hehe, it's ok! mine was bought 2 yrs ago and a 6x8; i bought it for about USD 330. However, Amazon is now selling it for only $270! From what i read in the customer review section, 6x8 is enough for amateurs and pros alike. :)
