first, please watch your spelling, it's rather aggravating when someone is trying to make a point and it's very hard to read. Secondly, Lestat is arrogant, he is known in the books at the Brat Prince. That's why both portrayls work. But to say one is better than the other isn't fair, because their both arrogant, they've just portrayed him in different lights, one is not cruler or more arrogant than the other.

Well I for one, Loved the movie!! The guy playing Lestat was perfect, and it was a movie that you could really get into..I've read Anne Lestat's books and I agree...movies never are as good as the books, why complain. At least they made one.

peopl need to stop comparing the movie to the book. although yes, the film is based on the book, the two are completly seperate. the key word is BASED and often times when something goes from the pages to te screen it is very diffrent. i love anne rice's books, and i also love this movie. this film is known mostly for its music now anyways and i think jonathan davis was a perfect choice for it.

As a stand alone movie, QotD was good. Kinda cheesy at points, a little over-acting, but a very fun gothic vampire movie for the hardcore vampire lovers. For a movie adaptation based on Anne Rice's book, no...Horrible. I agree, it is really known for the music, and the style.

it isn't said that i can't like movie if i read the book. as it turns out, i (and also other fans, as i think) adore this movie because of Stuart Townsed, who is wonderful as Lestat, and, what is more important, because of great music. in these aspects you cant compare it with the book. lack of similarity is obvious, so repeating it all over again is pointless.

and also now we are watching clip to ONE song, which has nothing in common with the book. so why are you mentioning it?
