It seems like he's saying collectivist are violent and individualist are not. Norway's terrorist was violent, and he was a individualist, and there are many cases when collectivist are peacefully effective. I think its that collectivist understand that there are social problems that should be solved, (thats way they become a group) and recognize that they will only be solved through collective means.
@dcrun7 Never the less... a constitutional republic, and the federal government created from it, and all 50 states constitutions PROTECT INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS--- not 'special groups' who believe they can change or abuse certain individuals. A group doesn't exist without the individual and you will one day be very sorry that gov't has morphed into socialism when it is your individual right that the 'group' wishes to usurp.
Groups are fine as volunteers, not as governments.
@dcrun7 There is a big difference between a group of individuals coming together to solve a problem (i.e a group of townsfolk hiring a sheriff to keep order) and a group of individuals labelling themselves as a single entity. This type of mob consciousness creates people who believe others in the same labelled group have their best interests at heart. This leads to control of the many by the few. Mobs don't ask questions.
@Stillwater900 He certainly is and I thank you sincerely for taking time to comment on each of the videos. Just doing that and faving the videos is about all we have left, here on TheirTube, to keep the voices alive and well.
The old question, do we exist for the government, or does government exist for us.
The scariest thing I've seen in my 40’s is watching the youth embrace this collectivism, they were raised in public schools, sent on the government subsidized colleges, and this is how they come out… no surprise there.
you can't let government control the schools, a #1 mistake!
@phantomcharger If not the premier mistake it certainly is a strong second to government dictating to churches their 'tax exempt status'. Between the spiritual, the education and the immoral monetary policy (their love of our money ie- when we don't cough it up willingly enough they go ahead and print it out of thin air and turn the tables upside down- suddenly they have money without the consent of the governed!) we're in bad, bad shape.
@jscottupton Glad you're enjoying them. Ed Griffin is quite an interesting man and his interviews of others are no less extraordinary. If/when you have time check out the Norman Dodd interview (playlisted on my page- approx 1 hour).
Thanks for commenting, as you know it helps the video along :-)
Seat belts not really a harmless example - had I been wearing my seat belt in the only wreck I've ever had, I would not be typing this today. It was my individualism that lead me to defy the new seat belt law and also what allowed me to walk out of a very serious wreck. By instinct I threw myself under the dash, a feat I could not have done wearing a seat belt. The seat belt would have trapped me in the driver's seat with a steering wheel through my chest.
Excellent thought proving posting that makes you think. I can see good from both sides. The rights of the individual against collectivism. Obviously a law stating that granny has no use after 70 is repugnant and would cause rebellion. But the right for the individual to say "hey if I want to drink a bottle of scotch and drive at 120 mph, that is my right".........I think anyone can see the dangers of allowing an individual to say that is my right is lunacy.
@movement26 Glad you enjoyed. Wreckless endangerment is not a right and quite the opposite is an offense. The next question is how far do we go to presume an offense will take place ie suggest that everyone who has consumed a bottle of scotch WILL drive and will drive at 120 mph?
i think collectivism can apply to terrorism also. you can't end terrorism.. its a losing battle. we are attacking individuals who make up the whole world. you can't build walls around your city like the walls of jericho. you would only be seperating yourself from the outside world. and still a trojan could penetrate those walls.

I've seen it, it's frightening in it's intensity and rigidity- amazing how mob action can be so orchestrated, but that's the advantage of starting the program off at a very young age.
Individualism / egoism: Hey, it's all about me and my life, fuck everyone else, as long as I am free and rich and famous and so on, that's all that matters, because, tada, like I said: IT'S ALL ABOUT ME ME ME!
LOL same thing could be said for collectivism. Hey, so what I didn't work for the money, I need it, can't get it on my own but since steeling from my neighbor is illegal, HEY great solution- have the government plunder it for me. It's ALL ABOUT ME ME ME.
Yeah individuals have to come first otherwise you cannot help your own family, congregation, charity, neighbors NO ONE! That's why we have a constitutional republic, the majority doesn't rule over you!
Thanks for the encouraging words to all Americans watching AK410! Hope you will comment, rate, save and fave all of this series. Another worthwhile endeavor is to watch G. Edward Griffin's interview of Norman Dodd (see my channel for links to all six of the series).

Thank you my darling AK410 It is essential to remain ACTIVE, PRO-ACTIVE and ENTHUSIAsTIC in our efforts- Nothing 'sells' like enthusiasm and positive energy.
Good morning- My program to mix audio with the visual really stinks. Sorry for that- but all the audio content is there. It is distracting and again I'm sorry. Hopefully the message is of interest and you can log on to G Edward Griffins site and learn more.
BTW thank you so much for these videos. We need to spread the word about this system we are living in now and make people think twice about their government(s). Again thank you.
No. Thank YOU! for caring enough to watch them all, really think about the issues and take the time to comment. Help spread the word about individualism and responsibility. That is what our country was founded upon. :-) Thank you again.
I'm tired of the government butting into everything. NCLB act and the whole abstinence only programs are prime examples of this, both of which fail miserably. Who the government think it is to tell schools what they ought to teach children. They aren't certified for this. This is why the school systems are failing and why we need guys like Ron Paul or Kucinich in office. At least they understand the importance of proper education, in all realms of live, not just academically.
I'm tired of it too. And having done extensive research of Dr. Pauls articles, speeches and campaign platform and some research of Kucinich- For me there's only one choice, Dr. Paul.
Jucishockwave- You will really enjoy a series of interviews where G. Edward Griffin interviews Mr. Norman Dodds. See my channel for the 6 part series. It will BLOW YOUR MIND.
Would love to have you drop me a line with comments on Norman Dodds.
You probably don't remember the day of seeing 'pay toilets'. You had to drop a coin into the slot in order to access the john.
I can't speak for Griffin but the reason I enjoy this series is for it's applicability to government- not religion. Most religions however rely on choice.
The bottom line with my YouTube channel, my videos is to educate on the foundational principles of a free society and help Americans regain a semblence of why they must fight to keep it and Ron Paul is the presidential answer. So, although you are entitled to your opinion of communism, socialism or democracy I have work to do here, important work and my time is better spent on people of this country trying to save it.
Your example about pay toilets ignores the incentives for a restaurant to provide a "free" toilet as part of the total package. I would probably not patronize a restaurant without toilets. But, in any case, it should be the owners decision.
But what if the costumers would urinate in the neighborhood because the owner has no toilets. The neighbors would be angry, but how would they settle the dispute?
You´d need someone which isn´t involved and who´s decision will be freely respected.
The judiciary was (intended) to settle such matters, but as the founders predicted... the judiciary was one of the most dangerous of all the branches.
Even a muslim in Afganistan can choose to leave islam, I just wouldn´t advise him to do so.
Why do we need priests, bishops and popes who tell the congregation what to belief pray, think and do?
Religious collectivism goes even deeper then state collectivism and religious collectivism has supported state collectivism thousends of times in history. How can you deny that?
During the middle ages and even during the Renaissance times there use to be a man who would wear a long cape or overcoat and carry around a smelly bucket, in which people payed him to go do their business. He would set the smelly bucket down on the ground, while the person uses the bucket the man would give the person privacy by covering whoever with his cape or overcoat. I still can't fully comprehend why they would wipe themselves with their hands. The idea kind of boggles ones mind.
Sure, what better way to encourage the dumbing down of the individualist, the thinker the free and the brave than take vacated, valueless ideas and finance them with vacated, valueless currency.
No - but I will now. Te things she has said have gotten me so aggravated, until I realized that it was all quite deliberate, and I now basically ignore her. All I do now is belittle her nonsense, because some of it is beneath contempt. When she said that Dr. Paul ntends to abolish the military is where I lost it!
Now I just see her as a dekiberately provocative person.
Do you recall her saying in one of her videos that she was more 'socialist leaning'? I couldn't find it and couldn't stand spending any more time on her than absolutely necessary.
Still no reply video. Prolly won't get one. Maybe she just likes the attention from men and could care less about facts, and opinions by someone of the same gender.
If you want to try and win her over - good luck. But like everybody else who has tried that, I am sure you will find that when you ask her any question she can't handle, she will bolt from the debate, and you will not hear another word from her on the subject.
lol I figured as much. I'm not really trying to 'win' her over, like you I think she is just busy watching her image talk into a camera and hear her own voice over the speaker. Then the honors she gets are a cheap thrill. She is vain, and like you say a provacateur.
German cars are now following the example of japanese cars and are using less fuel, a government can subsidize and fine to make products more or less atractive, force was a mistake from marx. If the government doesnt point out the good example, and has policy to stimulate the good example, the good example might remain exceptional
The good example you so aptly hope for is true for every ideology ie, this would be THE answer IF, or that would be THE answer IF... The truth is the United States of America was THE ONLY country in the WORLD to do the right thing BUT it was taken over by foreign banking interests who have no concern whatever for the individual. We will take it back, I promise you that.
are you serious? i am not interested in any ideology, i am interested in the quality of life.led gasoline wasnt exactly good for health, did the industry solve it or did they need some encouraging? the good example i hope for is capitalistic, i dont hope for much and i am not looking for aswers.would be nice if the coming generations can enjoy protection from the ozon layer, its realistic, not ideological
Chevy got a car name Volt, which bring back the electric car. We had electric cars even when the first automobiles where made, gas runners were made to make profit and take away the independence from people. The electric cars made you boss of your vehicles since electricity is less expensive (recharge at home)than gas and the car parts lasted longer (no money for companies). Electricity would be 60 cents to only a $1 per gal, where as gasoline is $4 to $10 a gal. Cheaper to be green IMHO.
seatbelts are a good example, a minor example. the change from coal to oil didnt excecute or solemnize in te case of the seatbelts, as griffith described. coal miners didnt follow the good example, so Tatchers policy was somewhat brutal and harsh, but it had to happen, it could have happend differently, but anyway it had to happen.
I enjoyed this, and couldn't help but find myself agreeing with him on the idea that both collectivists and individualists both want whats best for the society and for its people but have a different means to achieve it. there are certain things we believe to be necessary and fundemental in a society, goals that we seek to strive after within the real of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness but they should never be forced upon the people,
they should never be hoisted upon an unsuspecting mass, in this better education is key. working to help, improve and better people in their thought process skills to make better choices for themselves without trying to make choices for others people because then it becomes essentially meaningless and trains a society not to question or to discern. In this we find the inevitable usurpation from the hands of the people to the hands of the Government that Madison and Jefferson warned us of.
America is about choices, and the right to live according to who you are, what you want and what you need. In this we build towards a society where people are uplifted to come to these places through the power and strength of the individual, not pulled down to childlike levels by the power and the strength of the government
His sense that the founding fathers were trying to avoid the King mentality and that the people were not anti-monarchy, but rather opposed to King George is essentially the right one and is a great historical example given light through the attempts at diplomacy before revolution. In this though we must still remain on careful guard against a mentality towards a new aristocracy, looking to those in power to make our decisions for us and in that give them a free ticket to rule over us.
The aristodracy you, rightfully, are concerned about exists today. If Clinton gets into office and goes 2 two terms that will essentially mean only 2 families have been at the helm of this country for over 36 years.
Wow! What an HONOR. I would love to meet Mr. Griffin and plan on doing so one of these days. I actually answered a political poll re: Who for Pres? Ron Paul and Vice Pres? Mr. Griffin.
Sorry about the tracking on this, i've uploaded twice in an effort to straighten it out :-( to no avail. It worked perfectly in two different players on my machine.
Oh well. If someone can do a better upload this series I would greatly appreciate it. Just drop me a line once you're done and I'll remove mine :-) Thanks for 'listening'.

How about NASA steeling the patent on the water fueled converter! Yes, there's an aparatus that will operate your gasoline engine with tap water.

Steeling is for stainless steel as alloy metals, stealing is taking away something that does not belong to you. Scientists can't spell - LoL

ARGH! The spelling nazi's!
...STEALING THE PATENT...

seatbelts are a good example, a minor example. the change from coal to oil didnt excecute or solemnize in te case of the seatbelts, as griffith described. coal miners didnt follow the good example, so Tatchers policy was somewhat brutal and harsh, but it had to happen, it could have happend differently, but anyway it had to happen.

Seatbelts are a good example of the following:
The government cannot tell you what to do, even when if what you should do is wise for yourself that is up to you!

I enjoyed this, and couldn't help but find myself agreeing with him on the idea that both collectivists and individualists both want whats best for the society and for its people but have a different means to achieve it. there are certain things we believe to be necessary and fundemental in a society, goals that we seek to strive after within the real of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness but they should never be forced upon the people,
wyattmcintyre 4 years ago
they should never be hoisted upon an unsuspecting mass, in this better education is key. working to help, improve and better people in their thought process skills to make better choices for themselves without trying to make choices for others people because then it becomes essentially meaningless and trains a society not to question or to discern. In this we find the inevitable usurpation from the hands of the people to the hands of the Government that Madison and Jefferson warned us of.
wyattmcintyre 4 years ago
America is about choices, and the right to live according to who you are, what you want and what you need. In this we build towards a society where people are uplifted to come to these places through the power and strength of the individual, not pulled down to childlike levels by the power and the strength of the government

His sense that the founding fathers were trying to avoid the King mentality and that the people were not anti-monarchy, but rather opposed to King George is essentially the right one and is a great historical example given light through the attempts at diplomacy before revolution. In this though we must still remain on careful guard against a mentality towards a new aristocracy, looking to those in power to make our decisions for us and in that give them a free ticket to rule over us.
wyattmcintyre 4 years ago
The aristodracy you, rightfully, are concerned about exists today. If Clinton gets into office and goes 2 two terms that will essentially mean only 2 families have been at the helm of this country for over 36 years.

This is great. Our meetup group had dinner with Mr. Griffin last night. What a treat!

Wow! What an HONOR. I would love to meet Mr. Griffin and plan on doing so one of these days. I actually answered a political poll re: Who for Pres? Ron Paul and Vice Pres? Mr. Griffin.
anyusmoon1 4 years ago
"Americanism" = "collectivism"?? Aaaaargh.
We need Ron Paul in the worst way.
