When I saw these commercials as a kid, I always begged my mom to buy them when we went to the grocery store. I even said, "There's someting leaner!" and she would always say "NO" and buy regular bacon. But my grandma bought it so I loved her more. LOL

the ealy 90's experienced an economic crisis, but not on the level of tdays economic crisis. The 90's crisis decimated alot of small companies like sizzlelean.

Sizzlean was made by Swift Foods, which is still around. What really happened was bacon got sick of moving over and shoved Sizzlean right out of your local multinational supermarket conglomerate and into the Failed Product Museum. Bacon made from beef? really?

I remember the "move over bacon" bit with the flute sound and spatula from back in the day. BUT - I had forgotten how much the actress in the blue shirt overacts - I mean, what's with the hand held up "WHOA SIS!!"??. Then after she complains, check out her head swivel as she thinks hard about bacon vs. Sizzlean. Classic!
