Bernie Sanders is one of the few in Washington who is not controlled by greed and corporate interest. He may well have investments in the stock market, but i can assure you his total wealth is probably less than half that of the average senator/congressman.

He claims to have never heard of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993. Before the mortgage fiasco, this was the greatest shift of wealth in America. This shifted workplace earned health care benefits to the taxpayers! What's his bill number to fully fund SSI, Medicare, or Medicaid? Where's the pork for these programs?

He owns property worth $100-250k and has a savings account with about $130k in it according to Forbes. The average worth of a US Senator was over $4 million in 2008, according to the NY Times.
