Super Ball looked great but this festival looked INCREDIBLE. I've heard from tons of friends that went to both that Fest 8 was easily just an over-the-top fun experience. My buddy Bryce who has been to very fest said this was his 2nd fav behind Big Cypress

these cool players at the gorge a few months back, amazing time, halloween was just beautiful, the venue, and all the things phish did to make that venue pop, i've been to other fests at those polo grounds and nothing has even came close. the palm trees and the fire, and the campsites, If PHISH did this festival at the gorge, 3-days, i think that would've been the most awesome. But never mind listening to the actual rolling stones singing, 'sweet virginia' & 'loving cup' anymore. it was siiick

Doopes, nothing will ever top florida...
This halloween run/ 3-day festival (first time 3 day festival) is better than 3 nights in dk though, come on... Acoustic set, halloween concert (including cover album) and all the other things i dont have to mention. I think you are talking about that "wipeout" run at deer creek in 99 or 00... DK is always amazing, but come on. lol

Very amazing weekend.. not quite epic though? Big Cypress (only true epic phish show!)... Fest 8 is a close 2nd (behind any 3 day deer creek runs)

Nothing will ever top florida...You should never compare florida to anything. lol
