a great piece...GULDA is in my opinion the greatest Mozart interpreter. Pianists like him are a great contribution to humanity.Can't get enough of Gulda.Please continue to upload any Gulda videos u can find.Thank u for posting that.

Thanks for uploading. Great piece by a great pianist. And spot in the middle of it comes one of Mozart's trademark heartbreaking sequences, completely unexpected, after the iteration at 3:53 of that beautifully serene motif.

Definitely! Beethoven used that idea for the middle movement of the Pathetique! In fact, the whole tonal plan of this sonata is used in Beethoven's Pathetique - amazing really.

@nburton85 The middle movement of the Pathétique is in A flat major, this is E flat major. But the idea is definitely similar, I agree.
