  • I love how calm and thoughtful he is, how he obviously deliberates every word.

  • I have a question about Sufism and the Sufi Order. I was wondering if they teach about contacting the Holy Sound within? I understand that Sufi Order has deep esoteric teachings about meditation and inner light, but I have not found anything about the sound.

Islam has a few words for this, as do all religions. Some are as follows: Isme-i-Azam, Sultan-ul-Azkar Kalma or Kalam-i-Ilahi and Bang-I-Asmani.

    Thank you.

  • Thank you for your inquiry. Hazrat Inayat Khan has much to say about the Abstract Sound, Saut-i Sarmad. You can find those teachings in Volume 2 of The Sufi Message, Chapter 8.

  • @hassangebel Does Pir Zia teach it? I'm sure he gets into it, for he's a Mystic Adept.

  • @fanafin oh my Hazarat Inayat Khan had much to say about sound, he even authored a book, "The Mysticism of Sound and Music" The HIK Sufi orders here in the West are very much into sound.

  • @luvhafiz Thanks for your reply. I wish I could know more about what Pir Zia has been doing with the Sound teachings. Very interesting that you say the Sufi orders are into it.

  • @fanafin what part of the world are you in?

  • @luvhafiz I'm currently living in Chicago, Illinois.

  • @fanafin That "holy sound within" can be listened by quieting your mind and paying attention to a constant background sound within your ears. With practice anybody can hear it. Blessings

  • great answer!!!

  • I am so glad that this is on you tube available for all...

    Thank you.
