Why do people want artists to stagnate ?

This band constantly takes brave leaps and they all work..

but there is always some asshole wanting them to stay Thrice from 10 years ago

peoples tastes change and its boring to constantly recreate the same record and style..

its great that thrice started something new but there was too many songs at one time it was cool but i hope they go back to the old style songs when this is all over.
